★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Joo Chiat Complex is a one stop shopping for Malay/Muslim. There 3 floors of shops catering to the Malay/Muslim. Price are reasonable but can be expensive for Boutiques.
On the 3rd floor, there is a alteration shop for those who needs to alter of your Malay Baju Kurung. Friendly and afforable. Can do the alteration within the an hour for simple request.
My wife favourite shop; Gold shops. Meng Seng, There is a shop; Hj. Yassin on the ground floor who could arranged for the Eid Adha Korban. Ample carpark space; MSCP at Blk 2 above NTUC. Security 24 hours and overall experience 'Awesome'
Joo Chiat Complex is for the Malay/Muslim as Chinatown Complex for the Chinese and Little India for the Indians.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A large array of things can be sold here. For Muslims, there is a small praying area at Gedung Warisan so you can continue to shop in peace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am neutral about this place as I am not the targeted customer. But this is a great place for Malays, businesses are targeted towards them and the place is air conditioned. There is another side that is open air and fairprice is located over at that side. The escalators only go up. To come down there are lifts or stairways

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Depends on what you're looking for, this is the place to go to for your Malay-Islamic stuff. Except for some Chinese shopkeepers, the rest of the them and almost all of the patrons are Malay/Muslims. Apart from clothing for special occasions and daily wears, there are carpet, curtain and gold jewellery stores.
