Josiah Montessori (Raffles Place) - #05-01 Far East Finance Building

We enrolled our son in Josiah Raffles when he turned 1 year old, after encountering an unpleasant experience at our previous infant care. Seeing how happy he is here - always very excited to enter the class, we are so glad we made the right choice to switch him over. Josiah Raffles has indeed exceeded our expectations! The principal is very approachable and welcoming. The infant teachers are always going above and beyond to take care of him – providing a safe environment for learning and planning fun activities to engage him. They made his whole transition process v smooth and he truly enjoys going to school! In addition, my son’s interest in Chinese has improved tremendously. All thanks to the school for focusing on bilingual education even at infant level. Though we are moving on due to personal matters, we are very blessed to have cross path with Josiah Raffles. Continue to inspire the rest of the infants/ children and we would highly recommend any parents looking for bilingual pre-school at CBD area! :)

Our son has been attending Josiah Raffles since he was 4 months. The environment is homely, bright, clean and welcoming. We appreciate that the teachers are well-trained, experienced and caring. The comms with parents is great! We are frequently updated on his well-being and what he learns in school. The teachers are like an extended family to my husband and I, and we are so grateful for their hard work and love towards our son. We highly recommend Josiah Raffles to anyone is looking for an infant care or childcare in the CBD area!

My son has been enrolled with Josiah Raffles since its inception in Jan 2020 and I can say without a doubt that the kind of love, care and attention he gets every single day is outstanding! The center is newly renovated, has very good teacher-child ratio (much better than ECDA guidelines) and all the teachers are so loving and caring towards the children. Despite the disruptions that COVID-19 has caused, the center environment is maintained at the highest standards and the teachers are always in constant communication with the parents and are very willing to share details of the child's day at check in/out and via updates in the app. The center is also run in line with true Montessori principles whereby the child's needs and learning are kept in view and he gets to do things at his pace whether it is faster or slower than his peers. The center also offers a very good balance between physical activities, learning through play and learning through academia. I am very grateful to all the teachers and staff at Josiah Raffles for taking care of my son in the best way possible everyday!!

Excellent school and amazing teachers. My son started when he was only 15 months old. Since day 1 till now, he has never refused nor cried when i dropped him off at school in the morning. In fact, he has always looked forward to go inside when he was being prepped before entering the school. That tells a lot of how much he likes coming to school, how well he has been taken care of, and how the school has kept the learning and playing interesting to him. Josiah is definitely exceed my expectation. I and my wife would like to thank you for taking such a good care of our boy. And we highly recommend josiah to anyone who's looking for school for their children. :)

Josiah Montessori @ Raffles Place has a bright, cozy and clean environment which really makes us parents and children feel like home every time we step inside the reception area. My children have shown tremendous improvements, both academically and socially, ever since they started school here. The teachers are nurturing, patient, very knowledgeable and willing to share whenever we have questions on raising our children. Furthermore, they keep us informed with frequent photos / written updates, and conversations at the door, as they firmly believe in collaborating with parents to achieve the best for the children. It’s such a joy to see my children looking forward to school every morning. A rare find, and a highly recommended childcare centre in the downtown core area!

Our toddler has been with Josiah Raffles since he was 3+ months. The school environment is really clean, bright and welcoming. The infant care teachers are caring, knowledgeable and patient which gives us new parents a sense of ease when our child goes to school. The teachers will provide photo/written updates through the app and at times through conversations at the door. We are really happy with how our child has progress and the activities planned by the teachers are fun and enriching. Our toddler’s happy and smiley face everytime we fetch him from school certainly validates how much he enjoys being in Josiah!

Everyone at Josiah Raffles is great! My son has been enrolled since he was 4 months old and until our very last day in Singapore before relocation. We will miss them so much! Staff are caring, knowledgeable, patient, helpful and very creative in preparing their class materials (even for infants!). The environment is absolutely beautiful, clean and cosy. Don’t search any further, this is the best infant and childcare in town. I would rate it 10 stars, as 5 are not enough to express how much we loved this place!

Our toddler has been with Josiah Raffles since he was 3 months+. We are particularly grateful of the teachers for their love and he has formed a wonderful bond with his teachers, it's like a home away from home. In terms of activities, they do a lot of drawings, singing, story telling and we are fascinated by the handmade 'toys' made from paper box/container for them to practise their motor skills. The place has bright lighting and Montessori style setup which make it really conducive and inviting. Not to mention, my son hardly fall sick with them and this might have to do with their good housekeeping policy. Many thanks for their handwork!
