The only good thing about this hostel is the cheap price. The bathrooms were mouldy and smelled due to there being no ventilation. Beds were noisy. Despite calling itself a backpacker's hostel there were hardly any backpackers. Most guests seemed to be families or working in Singapore, which made for a strange atmosphere.

Not clean. Toilet, bed sheets, floor... Original plan to take a quick shower but after a brief look into the shower area have to pass. There stuff will recommend Indian food but there's actually many Chinese food nearby. Apparently this area is famous for frog porridge. For one night n cheap stay is ok. But if you can afford it, try find a better one.

Loved our stay here. Location is superb, close to metro station, just 300 Mt walk. Bus stand is just next to its door. Reception people are helpful and you get a kitchen where you can cook light food. What else you need at such a budget friendly price.

Cheap, good breakfast, and the staff was super friendly. But the rooms are way too crouded, you could tell that they used to be six bed dorms buy they decided to cram four more in there because, well, money. There is no space for your luggage, no windows, not enough power outlets, and two bunk beds are placed right underneath the AC and ceiling fan, so be prepared to catch a cold if you're forced to sleep in one of those. Guests are coming and going all night, so no restful sleep possible. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and smelly, the female shower was full of hair shavings and someone had actually managed to poop on the toilet seat, which wasn't cleaned all day. The sheets were not changed and washed, but they merely folded the blankets and put the pillows on top so it looked like the beds had been made. Worst hostel I stayed at in all of South East Asia!

Literally the example of "you get what you pay for". Don't be enticed by the advertised photos as they were taken long time ago for sure. The place is a run-down, shower area needs some maintenance, it smells cigarette smoke despite signage it's prohibited. I've seen better hostels, or better yet go to a bed and breakfast place instead. Friendly staffs and it's proximity to the MRT station at least gave my experience here something to be thankful for.

Located in a convenient area. Good for backpackers. I stayed here with my family with my kids 5 & 8. It was not a place suitable for families with kids. You have to carry your luggage to the first floor plus based on which floor your room is. Shared bathrooms and toilets. I feel it's very expense for the facilities provided.

Smelly rooms, no water coolers available except in the morning, dirty washrooms, not much hot water.. We didn't have a good experience. At least the mattresses were pretty comfy and the hostel is in a picturesque location, near to a bus stop and monorail station.

Its okay... the rooms are cheap and the place is secured but I could not stand the toilet... they have no exhaust for them and the bugs freaked me out for I had been bitten it was only once but I am not happy about it. This is very practical if you want to go cheap and is on for challenges because you will meet people who stay there because they want to love cheap too. They are mostly locals and they stay there long. The breakfast is nice like cereal flakes fresh milk chocolate and bread with nuttela fillings...
