Jurong Fire Station, which is due to be demolished later this year and relocated to 22 Jurong West Street 26, holds many memories

Went during Saturday with family. All officers are very engaging especially for the kids. We learned a lot about different vehicles, day to day operations and all of their equipment. Kids love the trucks, slides and fireman hats.

First fire station equipped with a slide instead of the traditional fireman's pole. More people work and live in Jurong with development of Jurong Lake District and Lakeside Industrial Estate. The newly renovated station is to ensure prompt and effective emergency services in the area. Located at proximity to PIE for rapid evacuations. Walking distance to Jurong Police Division HQ Jurong West Neighbourhood Police Centre Boon Lay Neighbourhood Police Post Gek Poh Ville Community Centre facilitate seamless cooperation. Walking distance of Sheng Siong supermarket and Boon Lay Shopping Centre provides immediate access to amenities. Conveniently located in the neighbourhood heartland of Jurong Point next to Boon Lay MRT station and bus interchange with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets library postage community centre cinemas entertainment and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for groups students tourists expats locals visitors and families.

We had interesting experience during our visit at the Jurong Fire Station as one of the newest fire station in Singapore. We learned about the fire-fighting, the paramedic equipment and the new fire engines. Kids are so happy with the red hat and souvenirs that were given by the firemen. Thank you for all officers on duty today for the warmth and hospitality.
