β β β β β Best coffee in the Dawson/strathmore area.
Must try:
Coffee
Teh (I love that it has a robust tea flavor)
Nasi Lemak
Beehoon with wings, fried beancurd skin
Hokkien mee (one of the best imho)
Youtiao/butterfly
The coffee aunty is very friendly and always make a point to remember orders for regular customers.

β β β β β This is a cozy place and the price is reasonable. The Thai Mokata meal was wonderful for 2 pax. I am enjoying with my friend and happy with the beer there.

β β β β β one of the worse place to have your meals.. staffs were rude when we were placing our orders - when we were telling the aunty what we had wanted, we were ridiculed about our asks.. if they are not happy about accomodating our orders then i would rather they just tell us as it is.. afterall we could order something else or spend our money's worth elsewhere. i could see why the co-tenant 3Good man mookata had left the place citing complications with the landlord..

β β β β β Delicious and generous serving of hokkien mee. Fragrant, tasty and not oily. Chee Cheong fun is so smooth and both types of chilli complemented it well. Very reasonable pricing. Thumbs up for all the 5 types of food my family and I had. Good coffee too. We will come back again.

β β β β β Very nice little cafe serving kopi, teh and lunch set such as curry chicken, pork chop rice etc. Kopi is brewed on the spot so not tinge of sourness and the curry chicken is wholesome.
The ambience is relaxed and reminds me of the older days of more outskirt hdb estates on the 80s. Highly recommended!

β β β β β A rare combination of breakfast shop and night time mookata / drinking place. The shop sells standard breakfast options like toast and soft boiled egg, fried noodles/kuay tiao/ bee hoon and other assortment of snacks as well as tea and coffee. Thereβs a lunch option I recall seeing when I walked past it during the afternoon.
At night the other stall opens to sell mookata and bento options. Thereβs also alcoholic drinks available. Ordered an interesting mala pork bento set that came with broccoli and potato slices in it. Thereβs also a coconut shake, though not as nice as the one from that popular chain.
Iβll return to try the mookata with my family next time. :)

β β β β β Like what previous reviewers said, this place has a strong oily smell. There are, however, many seatings outside and the spacious setting makes this cafe a pleasant place to have a meal. Breakfast set A was good - tea was flavourful and full-bodied, toasts had generous spread of kaya but could be crispier, eggs were cooked perfectly. The soya sauce had a weird taste though. Breakfast set B was a little disappointing - porridge and you tiao were subpar.
