β β β β β Kacang puteh should be a part of singapore heritage. u can find in cinemas like Capitol Theartres in old times. I wish can bring back to nearby theaters around singapore.

β β β β β Probably the only Kacang Puteh roadside stall left in Singapore. I believe all nuts were sold at $1.20 per cone, packed just like in the good old days. I bought some and they were tasty and fresh. Uncle was friendly. His mask was pulled down because he saw that I was taking photographs and he promptly wore it again after I was done.

β β β β β How we met yr dad during early 80's brings sweet momeries to all of us always. A cheerful, friendly Uncle with a pleasant smile n glad to know u carry on with yr dad's trade till today.
Life's goes on always n well wishes goes to u & family. Momeries will not go away but stay with us always.

β β β β β One of the last few remaining authentic kacang puteh sellers in Singapore. This Uncle is friendly & works hard to run his small makeshift stall in a place without air-conditioning. Quite a feat in year-round hot, humid Singapore. He has quite a decent variety of kacang puteh (mixed nuts/peas etc) and it was really neat to be able to find freshly steamed chickpeas (very rare these days). Brought my dad there on Father's Day for the nostalgia. ??
