A market research firm within an upmarket and rather posh building in Newton which also features an indoor transparent glass elevator. Office is well presented in modern decor.

Went for their focus group before. Office is big, bright and clean. Lots of tissues, hand sanitizers and wipes everywhere provided. Very nice touch. Staff are all polite and friendly. Their pre focus group “light snacks” are actually very filling. Would advise staff not to give pungent foods that will leave a strong aftertaste as we are wearing masks throughout the chit chatting session. But I would say that Kantar is quite generous with the snacks. The topic was quite interesting but I felt like the moderator wasn’t enthusiastic or prompt inducing enough. It felt a bit lukewarm after awhile but I still tried my best to give inputs. Moderator should encourage different/alternate points of views and not be swayed by majority. Activity inbetween was a bit lame as well. There was a guy who probably said less than 10 answers throughout the session but wasn’t prompted or called out. Company is very respectful towards attendees time - ends on the dot. Some companies claim certain focus groups are X hours but they make you attend X.5 hours. Still a pleasant experience overall. Looks like a very professional and promising company, just needs to better train their moderator.
