β β β β β Karen has a unique eye for framing the photographs and make every shot standout and she shares her techniques readily and happily which is rare. Her love, enthusiasm and energy for photography rubs off when you are doing a photowalk with her and she is so patient and creates confidence in the abilities of her students very easily. Karen is an amazing photographer and a fantastic person. Each time you do a lesson or a walk or a tour you always come away feeling great with fantastic photos and that's something rare to have in a teacher.

β β β β β Iβve just completed the beginners course and also been on a couple of Karenβs photography walks. Karen is a great teacher and makes the whole experience very enjoyable. She has a great way of explaining the technical side in simple terms, and then following up with practical exercises that really help to form a full understanding. I would thoroughly recommend Karen to anybody interested in improving their photography skills or just needing some extra inspiration or encouragement.

β β β β β I did the Beginners Photography course with Karen and she is awesome. Her knowledge, expertise and passion is an inspiration . Say goodbye to auto as she will teach you how to take great pictures without using it anymore plus you will learn lots of things you can do with your camera in just a couple of days. If you are thinking to do a course in Singapore, forget every fake Mario Testino wanna be out there, Karen is the best teacher & photographer ! Unlike some photographers out there, Karen can explain the most technical terms in such a simple and easy manner that anyone can finally understand how to use their camera. Her classes are fun, enjoyable and inspiring. She is warm, lovely and super supportive. I will definitely do other courses with her and recommend her classes. Sign up, you wonβt regret it !

β β β β β Karen Lucas Photography is a fantastic school as well as a photography community with an invaluable breadth of knowledge and support, even after the courses are over. Karen is an excellent instructor: she is professional, incredibly organized - paying great attention to detail with a well thought out and thorough course and complementary materials, sheβs very attentive, and she has a way of putting complex photography techniques into laymanβs terms. Her classes are held in a convenient, clean and welcoming location, and she is well prepared each and every class, making sure to provide clear communication to students beforehand what is required of them. Not to mention Karen herself is such a kind, lovely person! Am so happy I found her classes online and would definitely recommend.

β β β β β In short, I can say Karen is a fantastic teacher!
Thanks to Karen Iβve experienced a very steep learning curve in photography in a very short time. She has deep knowledge and shares it with her students in a very professional way. Her hand-outs are fantastic and often come in to use when Iβm on a photo session by myself later.
Karen is always very well prepared; the content of the courses is well structured, thoughtful, very engaging and a lot of fun and yes, coffee and biscuits are also available. In the Intermediate Course she showed us a little bit of magic when we were learning everything about the shutter speed priority, which was a lot of fun.
Even after the courses you can reach out for Karen for constructive feedback or for tips concerning any topic related to photography.
Today I am so much more in control of my camera than I used to be and it feels excellent. ?
I can highly and without hesitation recommend Karen Lucas!

Karen is patient, structured with the teaching and helpful at explaining the concepts in a way that resonates. Karen is also a super lovely person - I can't thank her enough for giving me the skills and knowledge to use my camera properly and take lovely photos of my daughter. I feel quite inspired after taking her courses!
