But on other side if system is too rigid, than there are not flexible, for instant they do not allow workers to be fetch to the site, to reduce the traffic and the risk in the yard, but some time vessel is at the far end, or you do not know the location well, there will be a lot of walking involved, specially during the rainy days the are no shelter to hide.
