Jul 2021. Attracted to the long queue and tried this for the first time. Ordered 水饺面 at $4.20. The noodle and chilli were good. The 水饺 had the familiar home made taste, with shrimps in a heavy sesame oil tinge. I would try their char siew next time.

Good wanton mee and shrimp dumpling soup. Good portions of wantons and shui jiao. The char siew was too saucy.

I like the texture of the wanton mee here, just right! The char siew are thinly sliced & for those who do not like fatty char siew, this suits well. The wanton are fulled of minced meat. Also ordered a separate bowl of dumplings soup to try & i love it! 5 big size dumplings with prawns inside for 3.50. Btw, the soup is tasty too!

I saw a long queue comprising mainly rather senior patrons queuing for this wanton mee, boy I know I have to try it. No regrets coz this is now my nuuuumber 1 (ala Kim Huat style) favorite wanton mee! Fans of fatty char siew can skip this, or perhaps order their dumpling noodles. I love their lean char siew! It somehow has this homeliness taste in the charsiew that made me fell in love with it. Can't describe exactly why it has this homely taste to it. Noodles al-dente and crunchy to bite. Sauce just enough to coat the noodles. Wanton wise, it's nice but overshadowed by the char siew (for me). I'll probably order $4 portion (ask for more char siew) the next time I visit.

Best wanton & dumpling mee in Singapore. The size and ingredient inside the dumpling is so much bigger and nicer with prawn inside too. Definitely worth rating more than 5 stars.

Have always wanted to tried this wanton noodle for the longest of time. But the previous few times when I was here, they were either sold out or closed. Went there slightly as compared to the previous trips and was greeted with a long queue. waited for closed to 20mins before it was my turn to order. Apart from wanton noodle, other dishes like ipoh horfun, dumpling noodle and braised mushroom noodle. Wanton noodle price starts from SGD$3 onwards. Ordered the wanton noodle with an additional piece of dumpling for and extra $0.80. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of the noodle was springy. The sauce was well balanced, has a strong lad taste. Char siew wasn't dry and its more on the sweet side. Wanton and the dumpling was equally good, filling was generous. Overall, an above average wanton noodle for me, no wonder it is so popular. would likely recommend if you like wanton noodle.

Ordered a bowl of wanton soup with noodles. Soup has nice flavor, very gentle taste. Wonton has a generous size prawn, and pork tasted nice. Noodles were cooked firm, just the way it should. It is no secret that this stall is popular, and I was very satisfied with the bowl.

Actually is 3.88 Stars. But what make me endorse a 4 stars is........ Let's start with the noodle quality, it is very well done. Kudos to the master chef skill! I will like the Quantity to be more at no extra cost. The Vegetables are the most lacking in the entire dish. Compare to the nearby stores selling similar, I will like them to increase in that sector. Finally is the shrimp in the dumpling! They nail it! Really, I am very impressed by the quality of the shrimp stuff into that dumpling. ? well done. Will I be back? Yes, but not too soon.
