★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever I visited Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, I stopped by this Pod. Unfortunately I never seen Kingfishers from this pod, but good place for resting. insted I saw crocodiles many time near seashore near this pod.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kingfisher Pod one of the feature/amenities within the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Picture perfect and has a commanding panoramic view of the nearby Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Be sure to have that comfortable hiking shoes, hat or cap to shield you from the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot to go for bird watch and crocodile sighting. Do come early in the morning as it’ll get quite hot during daytime. You can see Johor Bahru (Malaysia) from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coastal trail is very well built and maintained. I highly recommend it. It takes you to the water’s edge and you get to observe the wetlands from a comfortable vantage point. As Singapore is usually hot and humid I recommend visiting this place in the morning or the late afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the most "touristy" and "instagrammable" attractions, the Kingfisher pod.
considered friendly for small compact pram, especially good if you have those parent steered toddler bicycles. However there are some zones with steps so do expect some workout. But that is the point of coming here, to workout a little.
If you want to see animal activity make it either am (7-9am) or pm (4-6). In between the activity is less due to the heat.
Sunlight and some mozzies is part of the whole experience.
Bring your own supplies and please take them away with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pod offers nice views of the water entering the mangroves. The walkway leading up to the pod is quite nice and might offers glimpses of mudskippers and snakes, so do watch out
