β β β β β Saw this on a blog and decided to come try. It's pretty near from Kallang MRT station and can reach with a short walk.
The place was half full but we were asked if we made a reservation. We just did a walk in and found it weird they had difficulty trying to get a table for us. Nevertheless they got us a table within 5 minutes.
Ordered the food using the QR code. One of the most unfriendly sites I have experience because getting out of the food details makes you literally have to rescan the QR again to get back into the menu. They had this 'X' on the right corner which will get you back to the menu if you press on it, but it's hard to see due to the lighting as well as the colour of the background photo.
Ordered quite a bit of food for sharing and have to say the food was pretty decent. The har jeong gai chicken was good but didn't like the sambal mayo which tasted odd, enjoyed it more with the sweet chili. The pastas were good, we liked the hae bee hiam and the laksa one. The carbonara was pretty average and the Chinese lap cheong was kinda out of place. The sauce was also a little too watery and not much cheesy taste.
Staff were polite and friendly and place was very nicely decorated.

β β β β β I didnβt like the carbonara. The chicken leg took very long to serve! The fish and chips were nice. The design of the cafe is nice but the waiting time for the chicken leg was too long. The cake was nice.

β β β β β I saw a blogger's write up on this cafe and the interior deco seems chic so I decided to have lunch last Thurs. The staff on duty, Aaron was welcoming and approachable. The table setting were spaced out the ambience was soothing and comfortable. Probably it was a weekday and only a few tables were occupied so it was not rowdy at that hour.I have ordered the iced chocolate bear drink which caught my attention, hae bee hiam pasta, laksa pasta and lastly tried the crispy banana fritters with ice cream. Hae bee Hiam pasta and laksa pasta were both flavourful and spicy though I opted for less spicy. The batter of the fritters was not thick and have the right texture. Great combination with the ice cream.

β β β β β Visited the restaurant using burpple Beyond. We were informed that pastas were unavailable and waiting time would be 30mins due to something happening in the kitchen. Nonetheless we waited and had the chicken burger and fish and chips. Fish and chips were good, however the fried chicken in the burger was dry and overcooked. Fries in general were nicely done. The mocha was surprisingly good as well. Would return in the future to try their pastas.

β β β β β Last week we traveled to Singapore with my βvery pickyβ and βdifficult eatersβ parents to Singapore. Finding food in an atmosphere that they would love was like finding a needle in a hay barn.
Close to our hotel we found this gem. The atmosphere is amazing. Every corner is different and nicer than the one you saw before. The staff made us feel very welcome.
My parents (including ourselves and my picky toddlers) loved this place so much, that we came again the next day.
The portions are royal and everything is high on flavor.
When the kids ordered ice cream the staff made a little art work of it. The kids where so happy.
My mom loved the caramel cappuccino. The truffle fries are delicious and my father loved the ribeye.
This place is super photogenic. Like you can see in my pictures, in the evening they have some nice ambient light. If you want to make photos here, best to come before it's getting dark. Besides from that, I highly recommend this place.
