Under teacher Toby’s caring and friendly guidance for the past 4 years, I can safely say that I have improved TREMENDOUSLY in science and learnt to love the subject. Teacher toby has this way of making learning even the most dry topics engaging, and I owe all my successes to her. I've had science tuition teachers in the past, but none of them just as good at answering all my questions with clear and easy to digest answers. She will also check in on your learning and pause to clarify any doubts you may have, so you will never feel like you are lagging behind. During lessons with teacher toby, not only will you develop a good grasp of the topic, you will also have a fun time and enjoy the whole lesson!! There is no science teacher I would recommend more. Lovely people to be taught by? Previously had an excellent experience being taught mathematics by Teacher Ally, during our lessons together all of the concepts and practice exam questions I didn’t understand how to do were explained clearly and patiently enwrapped with an easy-going sense of humour and warmth. The environment was clean and comfortable with no distractions, making it easy to maximise concentration. Teacher Toby would also pop in every now and then or after the lessons were over to check that everything was comfortable and anything that they could improve on? Highly recommend either of them as tutors devoted to ensuring you get the grades you want!

My overall experience being a student under Teacher Toby is something that’ll forever be remarkable. I had Teacher Toby as my Science tutor since Primary school and I still wanted her to be my science tutor In my last years during secondary school again. Why? She’s able to guide me through science and make me understand every little concept there is, thoroughly. Never was there a moment where I felt intimidated and afraid to ask her questions, even if it was simple or unrelated ones. Teacher Toby is SUPER approachable and VERY friendly. It is understood by many that the transaction between a teacher and student is purely academic, but my experience and interaction with Teacher Toby was WAY far more than that. She goes out of her way just to ensure I have ZERO doubts. During science tuition, there were many instances where I needed many practices and many explanations to certain topics and Teacher Toby was there to sit down with me slowly and explain it until I was able to understand it and even gave me multiple sample questions for me to ensure I master it. Teacher Toby provides MANY sufficient and beneficial materials to assist on students so that they fully understand the subject/topic. Teacher Toby definitely knows her stuff well as I could ask her ANY science related questions, even if it’s not something I will learn, and she’ll be able to answer me with the most INTERESTING facts. My tuition lessons with Teacher Toby had ALWAYS been fun, and that’s what most students would like, a fun learning environment. Before I had tuition with Teacher Toby, I hated Science a lot because it was hard for me to understand, but after having multiple tuitions with Teacher Toby, I LOVE SCIENCE ?? On the other hand and not academically related, I had MANY doubts with what I would like to do after O levels, but I wasn’t alone to face it as Teacher Toby will always be there to help me by finding out useful and unlimited information to assist me, even if she doesn’t need to.I will always remember my time with Teacher Toby as it didn’t even feel like tuition, but instead it felt like a big sister helping me with school. Believe me, teacher Toby is the BEST teacher you’ll ever experience and a teacher that will always go out of her way?

Teacher Toby is an extremely dedicated and passionate person who goes out of her way to ensure her students have productive and enjoyable lessons. She ran a short beginner’s course for me in Quantitative Analysis when I had absolutely no background in Mathematics. I was very pleased with my score and highly recommend Kultivate Learning Centre over typical tuition centres; you get a personalised experience like no other.

Thank you Teacher Toby for being such a dedicated and caring teacher! My 2 daughters are so fortunate to be taught by you and they always tell me about how fun their lessons are. They love to attend your lessons and Science is their strongest subjects because of you. I was under Teacher Toby since 2018 to 2020. Her teaching is very engaging and student is able to understand well as she us able to explain very well with different methods to help the student in understanding and is very patient. I love the bond I had with her as my tutor as she is really attentive to my wellbeing and makes sure I understand and prepare well for my examinations! I will really recommend her as the best tutor out there!

We are truly blessed to have Toby to teach my son fr the past 1 year plus and she is the best tutor and friend ever! My son Science marks improved a lot and got A2 in PSLE, which we feel he has improved tremendously. Toby also loves her students a lot and so far all the parents’ kids whom I know feel very happy and excitied when it is going for Toby’s class. She makes learning a joy for the children which is not easy to find this in a teacher. I sincerely recommend Kultivate Learning Centre!
