★ ★ ★ ★ ★ just go on shopee to purchase the bears and paint, it’s NEARLY $50 CHEAPER ON SHOPEE!! (scroll all the way down to see where you can find it on shopee)
[i’m back after reading the owner’s comment. your reply isn’t a valid response, yes, you did mention about collecting within 7 days, BUT this isn’t the reason why i’m writing this. my argumentative point was that you never mentioned about a retrieval fee OR a forfeit of the bears if not collected within 1 week. I’m not sure if they’ve added a T&C in their platforms after I made this review, but I hope they do now. And btw, if you’re afraid of making a mess, just look at the shopee reviews, all you need are just some disposable magazines, newspapers or plastic. and paint isn’t very hard to remove. i’ve purchased the bears from shopee recently and i can guarantee it’s literally the same as the ones they give you in the studio. would you pay an extra $50 just for them to clean up after you and for the “vibe”? you need to go all the way to their studio too. unless you need content for social media about your trip there, go ahead. ? ]
terms and conditions were not stated clearly. we weren’t told about the forfeit for not collecting the bears within a month. they wanted to charge another $40 for the retrieval of bears. they argued that they’ve given us a call but there’s no calls to tell us about the additional fees, the call logs says it all. T&C HAS TO BE STATED CLEARLY TO CUSTOMERS BEFORE PAYMENT, it’s a given. all businesses should have known about this. holding on the our possession and giving us only two options, to forfeit the bears or pay $40 is just ridiculous. it’s not a contractual agreement if there wasn’t a proper agreement between the customer and seller. $100+ for the bears & the pathetic amount of paint given that you can literally find on shopee for a cheaper price, the entire experience itself wasn’t even worth it, now we can’t even have our bears.
If you want to know what the place is like and what they provide, here it is. The location isn’t convenient btw. The place is quite small, around the size of the room of a flat so it’s quite squeezy. They’ll provide you with an apron, a paintbrush, the bears, and teeny tiny plastic cups (about the 4cm tall) for the paint. i remember asking for more paint a couple of times, and the employee/boss seemed fed up about it. for the price of $60+ per bear..? definitely not worth it.
I’d advice everyone to just go on shopee to get them, just look for “DIY Bearbrick Tiktok Handmade fluid Bear” and you’ll find it at ONLY $5.45
and for the paint, it comes in a set for most of the bear bricks you find on shopee (get it for $11 for the whole set), but you can also look for “pouring acrylic paint”, “Umistrong Acrylic Paint” or “Mont Marte Premium Pouring Acrylic Paint” at $13.91 for 4 bottles of paint. You’ll only need a maximum of 4 colours anyway, that’s the adviced variations of colours.
way better than spending $60 per bear <3 Have fun! ?
(given the way that you replied under my comment, you don’t seem professional at all. also, learn the basics of doing a business before arguing about your non-existent “T&C”)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Isn’t this the SME that refused to pay $1.50 to that poor student who helped with the editing at the start of your business? I just realised... Nonetheless, very bad experience. Not worth money spent. Little materials given and very stingy with paint.
Edit, reply to the owner’s comment: Correct me if i’m wrong. (If i’m wrong about this info, then feel free to dismiss this.) I’ve done my research. And the timeline doesn’t lie... The other facebook account you may have abandoned was created and abandoned on the same month your current facebook account was created. The previous facebook account was probably abandoned because of the backlash it received. Just a few days after, you made your first post on your current facebook account. There’s no way there’d be such a huge coincidence where the date the previous account was abandoned just somehow turned out to be the date your current account was created...
