Tried their signature pineapple tarts... though it’s a branch of the middle road(or now mackenzie shop)..the tarts are disappointing. They were over baked and filling was overly sweet.. think I will stick to the original shop.

No queue! Taste is a bit bland. One box is for $10 and there's 8 inside. Cannot buy just one piece.

Famous for their beancurd tarts! Served cold, it was light and refreshing! The pastry is crumbly and melts in your mouth. The filling is not too sweet, which is good :) they open only from 12-3 so don't miss their opening hours! They also sell lots of other traditional pastries like pineapple tarts etc.

Famous for bean curd tart, pineapple tart. Generally the pastries and cakes here are nice. Shop is limited to 3 customers at one time due to covid-19 safety measures.

Not sure why people are raving about the pastries. If the chocolate swiss roll and rum ball are indicative of the general quality of the pastries here, then I'd say skip this. The swiss roll is dry, and the cream cheap. The same thing is true for the rum ball, which is cake (like cake pops) with rum and then coated with chocolate. It tastes cheap. The swiss roll from Bengawan solo is loads better. The lady was very nice though. Just not sure why people rated this highly. Maybe their pineapple tarts are better? I'm not ever touching the soya tarts. I'm editing this to say that given the price, i think you get what you pay for. And so in that respect, it's okay. So I'm changing my rating from 1 to 2 stars. I was a bit unfair in my assessment. And I do wish they would sell per piece instead of per box so buyers have a chance to sample their offerings without wasting anything. I had to throw away 90% of the rum balls i bought coz I just couldn't eat it.

Beancurd tart is very nice and not too sweet as compared to egg tarts. Very suitable as a dessert as its often serve chilled. Note: Mixed beancurd tart have to order a day in advance

@lecafe_sg beancurd tarts still as legit good as I last had it. The buttery shortbread-like crust is very solid, thick and has a crumbly bite. Sturdy and doesn’t fall apart easily and together with that irresistible wobbly beancurd which is SO soft, silky smooth and fragrant. It make a delectable treat as they weren’t sweet and yet you have the best of both worlds; tau huay and tart. ? so light on the palate that I easily devour 2 off without filling jelat.
