Located along burn road coffeeshop lai de. It's near Macpherson road and nearest mrt is tai seng. Maybe 10 mins or less walk. Ok I saw from the reviews when I googled for mookata in the east. Few options popped up and mainly in geylang but my fiancΓ©e mentioned this is also 4.9 and 90+ so we decided to give it a try. Well to be honest, no regret I think. Ingredients are fresh thus making the final soup tasty and prawn freshness. If you take pax of 2, it may not be enough if both you are male. That set meal came with scallops, sotongs and 2 large prawns. If you foresee you dont eat them, then go for ala carte. I ordered additional items such as maggi mee, pork belly, wagyu beef cubes (not bad) and cheese tofu. Total about $33+ for 2 pax. You plus drinks all per each pax is less than $20. Only downside is you should probably drive here or if you don't mind leisure walk from mrt. Park car just behind dont park outside without coupons as risky while you eat.

Blown away by the freshness of the dishes and the variety. I'm a garlic fiend so very happily surprised to see that some of their meats are marinated with freshly chopped garlic. Prawns are deshelled for easy eating. Service is good and price was really good even for ala carte. Parking after 7 was free also. Will be back again!

Really enjoyed the food and service at Le Thai! We ordered the home delivery and mookata platters and devoured everything! Ingredients were fresh, clean and well-marinated ? we liked it so much that we visited their stall in Tai Seng less than a week later! Standard is consistent and the chilli is flavourful and just the right amount of spice! Highly recommend their meats especially the sirloin beef! So delicious! Most importantly, prices are so reasonable and we can order however much we want without feeling much of a pinch!

Probably the best mookata in SG. Ingredients were really fresh. The flavour of the chicken was really good and they had this smart idea of placing paper on the pan to prevent spluttering. All of this while being affordable. Simply impressed and will definitely be back again.

Hidden gem!! Reasonably price yet good quality meat. Had the twin set, $24 only. Soup base has sweet corn flavouring. Definitely recommend! ?

Was looking for a place to satisfy our mokata dinner craving and decided to try Lethai after doing some googling. It's located inside a coffeeshop at Burn road. The building has ample parking both outside as well as inside the compound. The coffeeshop is spacious, with higher than usual ceiling so that helps to allow the smoke to dissipate easier. I've ordered a 2 pax platter + instant noodle + tang hoon at $29.70. The pricing is relatively reasonable for the quantity served. Not the most value for money platter that I've encountered though. Taste wise we feel the meat could be marinated more/longer. The soup initially tasted somewhat like instant noodle soup base but that got better as the oil from the meat oozed into the soup over the course of bbq-ing. The chili is a tad watery with some hint of sourness but heat wise its just about right. I would think this is a decent place for mokata. Taste is average but unfortunately no wow factor (at least not for me). Can give it a try if you are in the vicinity.

One of the better Mookata at affordable price. It is a stall in a very spacious and airy food court, and has ample parking spaces. Meat was fresh and the vegetables were sweet, after cooking in the soup. Quiet beyond expectation for the 2 pax for $24 set. The 2 chilli sauces provided were also very flavorful and went well with the bbq meat.

We are currently having some serious withdrawal symptoms from our recent (food) adventures in Thailand and this place saved the day for us. We tried the Twin Platter and added some items like the Sirloin beef, Smoked Duck, Crayfish, Prawn, Scallops etc. from their ala carte menu. The quality/variety (generous portion size too) of the platter was perfect and had a great selection of meat, seafood plus veggies. Our faves would be the Sirloin beef which melted in our mouths, the juicy Prawns/Crawfish and the well-seasoned chicken/pork. The homemade dipping sauces were the bomb (literally), they have a nice kick/heat to 'em which were so addictive and complimented the various meat/seafood. This place is also conveniently located at a Food Centre, only a couple of minutes away from Tai Seng Mrt. If you're craving for a scrumptious yet affordable Mookata then you definitely need to try this one, I highly recommend it.
