โ โ โ โ โ Paid 750 for pet insurance, simple flu and the reason they gave for why I canโt claim was 3 months no claiming . Firstly they took ages to reply to tell me I canโt claim. Why would I pay 750 ? Itโs 12 months minus 3 so technically 9 months ?! I was talking to my friend the other day about how I just bought pet insurance she told me she had a bad experience with this company. She paid for it and when her dog had cancer she wanted to claim they did not allow saying it was adopted

โ โ โ โ โ Didn't felt like an insurance company that I will buy for my personal use due to their service. I don't feel that they are prepared for customer service on premises. But I was required to submit some stuff and felt unsafe for a moment to leave my personal belongings. However, one lady from admin made me feel safer later.

โ โ โ โ โ I had my car insured under Liberty and my experience with them has been really terrible. I had a minor accident with a lorry in August this year and it is 3rd party's fault. The lorry driver is from China, he refused to provide any details after the accident and the lorry is registered under an unknown company which was untraceable. I called Liberty for advice, they told that I only had to take a photo of the lorry's registration plate number. After the accident, I sent my car to my service shop and filed a 3rd party claim against the lorry driver. However, the drive did not file any report under his insurance company, so I was told by my agent that I could not claim from him. Eventually, I decided to folk out money from my own pocket to get my car fixed since I knew that I would never be able to find the driver. I thought the whole thing was settled until recently, I received an email from Liberty, stating that my NCD has been deducted from 40% to 10%. I was shocked to see it as I didn't make any claim from them at all. I called their staffs the next day, they were really unprofessional and impatient when I asked for the reasons for my NCD deduction. All they told me was that I have an open case, so my NCD is deducted. I told them that I filed a 3rd party claim at the first place and did not claim any amount from Liberty to get my car fixed, it is unreasonable to deduct my NCD when I was the victim of the accident. However, they told me that the case can have a legal effect of 6 years, so they are scared that the lorry driver comes back in the future for claim. In order to revise my NCD back, I have to sign a indemnity form which will make me to take all the responsibilities should the lorry driver make a claim in the future. It is utterly ridiculous. First, they deducted my NCD when I did not claim anything from them. Second, they asked me to take all the responsibilities for the next 6 years because of a 3rd party fault accident. Third, when I asked them to email me all the follow-up document after the call, I have yet to receive anything. I would advise anyone to think twice before taking up their insurance.

โ โ โ โ โ Firstly- They donโt cover the first three months of the policy for whatever reason- definitaly not to support customers. Second- they keep finding loop holes not to cover anything- they keep filing things under โskin conditionโ (like an ear infection) so they wonโt have to pay. If you grt an answer withing three weeks- thatโs efficient for them.

โ โ โ โ โ My personal opinion of Liberty is kind below satisfactory due to the responsiveness & their turnaround time, upon receipt of an enquiry.
If you write an email to enquirer something, you will receive an auto reply with a reference numberโฆ. If you send a follow up email it will give you another reference number to the first referenceโฆ
If you call their hotline, you can only talk to the general customer service officer who will only help to transfer call or take down messages, dun expect to get any answers from her as she is not trained in their product knowledge.
When I spoke with the person in charge of quotes, he assumed I knew everything so any further clarification I sought was like a silly question to himโฆ I feel they should be trained to understand that not all callers are drivers, like me I was checking on behalf of my employer :(

โ โ โ โ โ pretty bad. Had to do alignment for my road tax and ended up having to call them multiple days just for them to send me a quote. After paying it's pretty much the same... after 4 working days LTA have not received anything from liberty insurance's side. Extremely disappointing and inefficient.

โ โ โ โ โ They try to deny all claim not matter how small, made a claim for an ear infection, because one of the symptoms was the skin was red. they claimed they do not cover skin disease and declined the claim. Tried to escalate this and there was not reply. Also, to make a claim they insist that all paperwork needs to be posted. They need to update their systems to allow on line claims or at least all this by email. DO NOT RECOMMEND

โ โ โ โ โ My recent motor insurance claim experience is very disappointing. While I respect the decision to reject my claim, I feel unfairly treated! I had repeated asked to speak with the claim officer but my requests had been ignored! I signed up for 2 years motor insurance coverage at the recommendation of the car distributor in September 2020. I have not received my policy contract despite my requests for one to be emailed to me since policy inception 2 years back! This will be my first and last time insuring with Liberty Insurance!
