We were recommended Hwee Li of LIID Studio by a good friend and to be honest we hadn’t heard of her firm until then. That said, from the first time we met Hwee Li, we have been hugely impressed by her attention to detail and thoroughness. While we did meet several other IDs, our minds were mostly made up after just our second meeting as we connected best with Hwee Li (extremely important when picking an ID) and she was also the only one to produce an itemized initial quotation which was impressive. The OCDs that we are, we felt this was a keeper!! She and her team have been an absolute pleasure to work with led by her calm, composed and extremely patient demeanor. Hwee Li was with us every step of the way spending hours together be it selecting tiles, laminates or finalizing designs. Never one to cut corners plus her recommendations and execution was spot on, which meant our home has turned out even better than we had imagined. In spite of late additions by us and challenges thrown by the pandemic she managed to complete the renovation as planned. We couldn’t have been happier with the end product, massive thanks to Hwee Li, Shu Min, Hans and others. If this hasn’t already made it obvious, we strongly recommend Hwee Li if you’re looking for a top notch ID!!

I must admit that it was not an easy nor smooth project for my home, a conservation walk-up at Tg Katong. Renovation costs have been extremely high too and way exceed our originally signed proposal/contract. But Hwee Li and her team managed to deliver the project in time amist the pandemic. I am extremely happy with the work and service provided by Pei Shi. She has been helpful and responsive even during weekends. I am very happy with the final result and enjoy the new home very much. Thank you Liid ID Team for doing the great job in renovating and building our dream home, especially to Hwee Li (designer) and Shumiin. Few things on why I would like to recommend them, (1) They were so prompt in their communication (very responsive), (2) Able to propose some recommendations and suggestions that still suits to our liking. (3) and most importantly they were able to deliver the project in time with the good work quality. Overall, I can trust to work with them to meet my expectations. As with many first-time homeowners, house renovation was a mystery to us. We first found Liid Studios by chance while scrolling for designers on a bullet train in Taiwan. This was after the first 4 meetings we had with various interior designers which turned out disastrous. Their suggestions were either impractical, or were unable to understand the requirements of what we had. Enter Hwee Li and her team. They were extremely artistic and professional in their dealings with us. They could immediately connect with us and understood our requirements straightaway. They were prompt in their responses to us and could always assists us with all our questions along the way. We did our renovation during the unprecedented Covid times and kudos to the Liid team for delivering the project despite the numerous materials and manpower challenges. I would recommend Liid for maisonette projects especially. They have a lot of experience in renovating such projects and are always able to provide good suggestions for use of space around the house.

Although Liid Studio quotation was overall higher than the other quote that we received but I would recommend them for any home refurbishment works > The team was responsive and friendly > We were overwhelmed by the selection of tiles / paints / panels and were glad that they did spend time to shortlist a few for us before our discussion.
