same as one of the patron here, their mechanic removed my cover and never put it back, owner did not even say one sorry but the other assigned to help me mechanic keep saying sorry to me. Been with this company for almost 5 years and time to change to my friend shop instead.

Loosen end area were not taken care properly at times. Scratches on the paint work were created during repairing. Couple of times including deep scratches. The boss is good but not the ground work mechanics.

Don't go to them. The owner is a con. My family used to go to this workshop especially my mom. But in recent times, they are out to make quick bucks. First example: My sis's car got hit by another on the rear and went there. Owner suggest we con the other party for more and we share the profit. We flatly refused. That sounded a big red flag. Second example: I thought that owner just wanted to do to non regular but to my surprised when I had an accident and brought the other party there for repairs he actually raised many issues that was not due to accident and tried to con a regular too! We NEVER go back there anymore and I would advice others likewise.

Was strongly recommended by a friend to send the car to Lim Tan Motor since had an accident along AMK Ave 1 , and Lim Tan Motor is one of NTUC Income authorised workshop nearby. The PR service was excellent, and had the car back soon. Thought it was a good decision to go there. But it was a BIG BIG mistake!!! A few weeks later, the car went crazy after heavy rain and kept trying to start on its own. In the end, had to tow back to Lim Tan Motor, because the car could not start. We told the staff that this had never happened before and was only after their accident repairs then it happened. The staff said it was not related to the accident repairs and charged $380 plus to change the starter motor and the labour fees. Despite us asking Lim Tan staffs to please look into this matter, they just simply brushed us off. Saying this new problem had nothing to do with the previous accident repairs. Even when I told the staffs that it happened after raining, could it be water entering the internal components. - a clear indifferent attitude to customer’s concerns. Despite me being a recommended customer. Last week, similarly after a heavy downpour, the car went crazy again. No choice, had to tow the car to another mechanic (who would still dare to go back to Lim Tan, to be charged by them again. And the real problem not resolved at all). After a thorough check by the new workshop, turned out Lim Tan did a very poor job for the accident repair. When the windscreen was replaced during the accident repair by Lim Tan staffs. The left side was not sealed up properly. So there was moisture seepage when rained, which would damage the fuse box and starter motor. In short, total costs was more than $2200 to change the starter motor (2 times), fuse box, alternator, re-sealing of the windscreen. All these could have been saved, if Lim Tan was more professional and competent in their repairs. Enough said: I could only end off by saying, go at your own risks (or if you have a lot of money to waste and time to spare), for me, I am not fated to ever patronise Lim Tan Motor.

Ivan attended to my car repairs, he is professional and patient. He didn't shun away from the follow up rectification, Highly recommended Lim Tan Motor from my 4 years of servicing my car with them. I would also like to thank Alvin for his skill on troubleshooting.

My odyssey had been maintained by Honda since I bought new in 2016 but in the last two years I felt I was walking into a shark’s tank with them trying all the time to sell packages or ask me to change this change that. Upon recommendation, I turned to Lim Tan and this is the first time I allowed a 3rd party to repair this machine. Once again they outperformed my expectation. They’re down to earth, focused on my needs, never try to “smoke” me.. their service surpasses expectations, follow up is very prompt, and they always deliver a clean and shiny car back to me. I will not hesitate to recommend this team and workshop to anyone. Thank you Edmund and Ivan and the crew! You’ve made my day once again ?

Definitely, One of the best and professional workshop in The Central area. The boss is humble, sincere and an easy going person. The Sale advisor is friendly and will advice the parts that need to be fix and pricing and provide the quotation. The workmanship is good and price is very reasonable too. They have a few units in the area and is one of the oldest workshop in the area. It’s been in the market for more then 25 years old. My first serviced with them was back in 2005 and that was my first car (E90) Thank you boss Edmund! Highly recommended!!!?????
