A famous tourist district in Singapore. It is call Little India because it is the early settling place of large numbers of Indian immigrants during the British Empire days ( British Colonial Era). There are lots of Indian shops selling Indian products, foodstuffs, clotthings, juwelleries, artifacts, etc. There are lots of Indian Restaurants here, a famous shopping mall call Mustafa Centre ( 24 hrs ), a famous Hindu Temple, Mosque and Hotels. It is a part of Singapore where you can walk around the areas small streets and alleys.Alot of old buildings and shop houses from the British Colonial days can be found here, the feel walking around here is different from the more modern parts of Singapore. The area is crowded on Sundays and Public Holidays. This is due to the huge population of foreign workers especially from India and Bangladesh gathering here every Sunday and Public Holiday to meet fellow countrymen & friends.Transportation wise, there are lots of public buses servicing this area and there are also mrt stations ( Subways ). Nice experience here. The shops here are built in as market equally like shops selling of items just like available in India. All shops of different types of items available. All household items, fruits, vegetables, clothes, jewellary etc are available here but almost all the items are more costly as compared to India rates of same items.

Settlement for Indians in Singapore, one of the most dirty places in the city I must say. Eateries are cheap. Nice temple located here.

Weather is so hot and no bus interchange for this location, plus none of the people never write in to LTA to build a bus interchange for this location and plus the people are waiting for the bus to come and no bus interchange for this location. If LTA build a bus interchange and auto shuttle bus for this location I will give this 5 stars. 1 star-No bus interchanges and shuttle bus 5 stars- Got bus interchanges, auto shuttle bus and air condition
