β β β β β Great place to work and eat!
Ok so I wanted a place I can work, with WiFi and prices that wonβt give me a heart attack. I found this via a number of sites after searching βbest cafe to work at in Singaporeβ
I was umming and ahhhhing about going here (as there are lots of options here in SG), but after seeing the chicken and waffles I was SOLD.
So the vibe is very cool, inside a local college so the vibe is great for studying and for students. Lots of seats to work, benches, and even sofa areas. The WiFi is great and unlimited.
So I love eating the dinner. Obviously chicken and waffles. But the meal comes with a starter, drink, AND a dessert. All for about $20! So, Iβm sold. This is actually my second time here in a month, and I confess to eating the same exact thing. Mushroom soup (could use more salt), chicken and waffles, English breakfast tea, and coffee gelato. It is such a great meal.
Next time I come, Iβm doing so in a week day because itβs 1 for 1 beer/wine!!!
My new favourite place to work in SG!

β β β β β The pistachio gelato was very tasty, full of nutty goodness and very velvety. Warm and cozy ambience with nice instrumental music playing in the background. Overall chill and relaxed vibes. Great place to hang out with friends if youβre around Rochor.

β β β β β Food is just decent, and the original indicated price for the hitea for 2 without promo seems to be way marked up as you can only select max. 1-2 dish per category and lots of choice require cash top-up which is not mentioned on its website and we only came to know this on-site. Portion is small. Also suggest staff to inform customers to scan QR for ordering upon seating than just leaving customers there assuming someone will be back to take order soon. However, would like to credit service provided by the middle-aged waiter who is polite and prompt

β β β β β good ambience, enjoyed my lunch here! quite a value set ($12.80++ for soup and drink) and food was decent. Female cashier could have been friendlier but would definitely be back to try the other dishes

β β β β β I love the ambience here and is usually not very busy during weekend. Where I can finish some of my work... The staff are friendly too and the food and beverages are nice as well...

β β β β β A very work-friendly cafe within the Lasalle campus. There are plenty of plugs around for use. It does get busy during lunch so perhaps come slightly after. I came by around 2pm and got a seat no problem! The staff there were super friendly. Food is pricey but if you're staying there for long it's worth paying in exchange for using their space + power + wifi to do work.
Their truffle mushroom pasta is decent, the pistachio gelato very creamy and nutty. They also accept Paynow/Paylah here which is a plus. Bring a jacket if you're planning on staying long as it gets cold. Also, toilet is located upstairs but no biggie as it got some movement in my legs from sitting for too long ha!

β β β β β Great environment to study. Do bring a thick jacket if you intend to stay and study. The temperature is kept at a proper level to keep you frozen awake.
Also do give the coffee fries a try if you like crispy fries and slight coffee bitter mayo.

β β β β β Coffee was to my liking (please reply with the type of beans used, thank you!).
The Wings (prawn paste) and Waffles were p interesting, but idrt lining it with paper at the bottom was a good idea -- the cut bits of paper with blue prints were hard to differentiate from the thyme in the waffle batter. Would be perfect if a larger portion of butter was served on the side instead of on the waffle.
