Maid Avenue

Pros: Better rates than most employment agencies. Cons: Do not expect any aftersales service or any mediation service at all. The company is severely understaff and will brush off your texts and calls. Extremely disappointed after paying almost $3,000 to them to have a helper for 5 days. It has been 3 months and we have yet to receive any indication of a replacement helper. Brought this issue up to CASE but Maid Avenue refuses to respond to CASE as well. Engage them at your own risk.

This company is often busy and can see understaffed. So I can understand if sometimes they got too much on their hands and reply late and etc. But if you can be patient enough, you will get your needs met eventually. I have been to many agency asking for quotations. This is by far the most affordable. Kudos to agent Yvette for her good customer service and clarity in explaining the processes and costs. And kudos to the boss William to take over the process at different stages and liased with me till I get my helper from Myanmar successfully. The boss William did more to let me get my helper early. Really thankful for that. I hope their company can maintain at the current rates and be successful. All are very hardworking. Satisfied and happy customer here.

William was efficient and attended to my queries promptly. He matched a helper based on my requirements quickly. The whole transaction from application to collection of helper was done smoothly. The fees are reasonable and his staff explains all the procedure clearly. Definitely will recommend Maid Avenue to my family and friends. ????

Gotten a helper from them. Had to say it was good. Sometimes we were not able to contact them as they are receiving a lot of calls, they will still call us back. I find them to be the most trustworthy agency in Singapore given that their fees are transparent and simple. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a helper. William and Yvette both are very helpful. Job well done maid avenue!

I was served by Yvette when I went to pick up the domestic helper. Yvette is very friendly, patient and thorough in going through all the explanations and documentation with me. The whole process is smooth and fast. William was helpful and patient too, only thing is I feel they’re understaffed so sometimes his response may not be as prompt as you wish. Nevertheless, he did go through everything thoroughly once he managed to attend to me.

Horrendous is an understatement. William and Yvette have both disappeared after collecting money from us. We were told to pay upfront the full amount to get our maid in. William told the helper her loan is for 4 months but collected 6 months from us. And now for the last 6 weeks they have both gone MIA. Still waiting your call back from 6 weeks ago William.

The worst agency . William said to me that his agency is like snip avenue. You pay little don't expect him to have time for us. I waited almost a year. They lied about the helper . First when we decided on one they said will be ready to out. That was when borders were open. Then when we called back in 2 weeks to check they said passport not ready . Now they want to give me a maid who has been in another home for a week .when asked for reason he snapped .Apparently to him it's a fresh maid and not considered transfer. He doesn't want to provide biodata. Bangs down phone and avoids calls saying he is busy . Boss is sleeping at 5pm and can't give me the contact. Don't get fooled by thier advertisement on their website. Worst customer service. Never hear you out and just talks while you are talking. No integrity. Engaged this agency, Maid Avenue. The boss William recommended few lousy helpers and replacements to me. None can make it. Last helper El El Zar decided to leave employment after few months and realised she’s on temporary job scheme with MOM which I’m unaware about and documents that has my signatures which I do not know. This case is reported to police and MOM, currently under investigations. Both she and William went on a tv interview. But her performance was ridiculous. No replacement maid provided to me. The insurance pro rated refund on this helper given to agency in Jan 2022 was not refunded to me till now and remained uncontactable. All the relevant staff I dealt with left the agency. I went to their workplace address stated on website which is still active but there’s nobody answer the door. I saw this electricity termination SP services notice at the door handle and it’s been a week there. I won’t recommend anyone engaging this agency with such unethical ways of dealing business and misleading customers. I’m writing this as I'm advised to share so other employers won't suffer same fate. We engage helpers for reasons, to care for our young or old. Not to throw money down the drain and how many times can you afford to? Regarding this helper’s insurance refund. I made an enquiry with HL Assurance and got an email reply on 13 April 2022 that the unused premium was refunded to Maid Avenue on 1 Jan 2022. But Maid Avenue did not refund me and remained unresponsive when contacted.
