Yueqi is our super makeup artist! She's warm, friendly, professional and very approachable. I got to know Yueqi through my husband's photography collaboration and fell in love with her work and down-to-earth personality in one meeting! Without hesitant/ sourcing for any other makeup artist, we booked Yueqi's HMUA services for both my PWS and wedding day. During our trial session, without any styles I had in mind, Yueqi patiently shared with me some hairdo and makeup looks that suits me and my outfits. She made the sessions very comfortable with great chats, gentle hands, and constantly check-in to ensure I am feeling ok throughout the process. Both my PWS and wedding day call time were super early but Yueqi came fresh, energetic and prepared. Her energy was so contagious that I stayed awake, hyped up and excited for the day. Nicole and Dorcas were in-charged of my husband's and mum's make up respectively. My husband was very particular about his hair and was astounded that his fringe held up the whole day without any stray hair despite the gatecrash, a once a in lifetime experience for him! Dorcas on the other hand was great with handling my mum's preferences on her makeup and hair. My mum was transformed beautifully in the hands of Dorcas. Thank you to Yueqi's teammates for their professionalism! My makeup and hairdo lasted well and fresh throughout both PWS and wedding day. I had so much compliments for all the looks I had! No sweat, tears, rain, wind or air-conditioned environment affected the look at all. I even had a healing open wound pimple on my wedding day and Yueqi managed to cover it beautifully. Tldr: Amazing look; Gentle hands; Enjoyable experience. Absolutely amazing people to work with. Luna and team made my mums, bridesmaids and myself look absolutely stunning on my big day. I didn't have a specific look in mind, so Luna very patiently provided professional advice on colour combination, hair style choices, types of lashes etc that best fit my dresses, outfit and venue, at the same time accommodating to my preferences here and there. She took everything into consideration! Example: updo for me as I had to last for over 12hours. Half up or all down, the curls wouldn't last. She also intricately created a space between the braids that I could wear my veil and remove subsequently without messing up the hair! Lighter eye makeup so even if it smudged by evening, it'll be like a smokey look. But that never happened because my makeup lasted all the way, even after a few tears! (Of course lip colour I had to touch up after eating) Bridesmaids and I were in consensus of how gentle Luna and team were in applying the makeup and doing our hair. So gentle that I dozed off. Luna would constantly check in with me on how I'm feeling, did she tug a strand or two that hurt. It really helped that my big day started off so pleasantly. Besides actual day, Luna did my look for PWS as well. And she's an angel, loaned AND ironed my dress because mine broke and I wasn't feeling too well. And we never even met before that. So working with Luna twice really reinforced the fact that she's professional and truly warm hearted. What else more can a bride ask for on her big day, other than to look beautiful and feel great.

I met Luna at a wedding fair for 2 fresh makeup and hair for my wedding day. She is adept in makeup not only on bridal, but also in various functions as well. Although some changes had to be made due to P2HA in mid-June and late July, I'm very thankful to her for helping me on both occasions and delivering the looks I wanted. Sharon ( my MUA) is very experienced, and she is very detailed and also very attentive . She listens to what I envision my make up to be and the outcome is very satisfactory. I enjoyed the whole process and would engage them again for my makeover. From arranging the schedule, to the payment - the whole communication was done seamlessly! YueQi is very friendly and warm, I always have a good chat with her during our make-up sessions. She is also very experience and professional. I have some fresh pimples on my wedding day, and she covers them really well, which lasted throughout the whole event. My make up & hair did not run/melt after all the running, and sweating during my wedding. She has keen eye in flower design, and hand picked her flora accessories to match my wedding theme. Excellent work! Her team also assist with my mum's and sister's make-up, and both of them received numerous compliments for their makeup & hairdo! I highly recommend them for all events!

Luna was my source of calm and reassurance on the most chaotic day of my life. She was more than comforting and I couldn’t be more thankful for her skills and flare. Want to sincerely thank Luna from Makeup Doyennes for being so amazing - from start to end! Met her at a bridal fair, and she was so patient and not forceful in selling her makeup to me. She showed me the different makeup and hairdo she has done for her past clients in her portfolio, and I was immediately drawn in. The other vendor literally just told me to look up the photos myself on Instagram. Luna on the other hand, discussed the various styles and options for my make up and hairdo for my wedding with so much genuineness I decided she was the one, and true enough my hairdo and make up were amazing that day! She had a make up trial where she did a couple of hairstyles and makeup she thought I would like, and was very open to suggestions from me (my style preferences etc), in fact, she even tried to match my hairstyle and makeup to my wedding gowns! My night make up and hairdo even lasted despite my outdoor banquet, and a very sweaty dance performance I did with my husband! Also grateful to her for finding a lipstick colour that matched me so well, and I am so in love with that lip colour I couldn't stop applying it all throughout the wedding!
