But not getting 5 stars from me because the variety of ingredients is just a tad too few

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly enjoyed the mala xiang guo here at Holland Village food centre. It's not very expensive, but definitely much more than what you'd get from the other stores. The weight is something that you should be especially mindful about when choosing your ingredients, because you can very easily grab and be overweight without realizing it. Really love the usual suspects of lotus root, potato, and mushrooms! Vegetables too, lots of them to kill the heat!
