Mama and Misse Cheongsam

Love my hand sewn embroidered cheongsam for my big day!!! Auntie lucy is soooo talented! She also gave advice on what is suitable for my venue ? thank you so much for making my dream dress! Mama and Misse offers both bespoke and off-the-rack cheongsams with a wide variety of fabrics, buttons and embroidery. Came across their IG's account and was instantly attracted to their cheongsams, especially those in tweed material. And I was lucky to get mine in a lovely pink tweed off-the-rack with minor alterations required on my first visit! Was initially worried about not being able to carry off a cheongsam well but I guess a well made cheongsam makes a difference! Received many compliments on my ROM day and it was comfortable to wear even under the hot sun. Would highly recommend to anyone who wish to own her first piece of cheongsam! ?

Got my wedding cheongsam from this lovely boutique ran by a charming mom-daughter pair. They were patient, kind and so friendly. Needless to say, I was so sold by the pieces there I bought so many "standby" ones - all in the name of my big day ;) The pieces I got were so good that the usually critical husband also decided to custom make his Chinese wedding outfit - that garnered soooo many compliments! Thanks Lucy & Veron for making us look so amazing on that day! <3 Will be back for more!

This is my first ever cheongsam and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a flattering cheongsam but intimidated by the idea of visiting a cheongsam shop. Their cheongsams really make you look so elegant and pretty! Very thankful to Veron for her super prompt Instagram replies on Mama and Misse’s IG, and love her gorgeous pictures! Auntie Lucy and Auntie Yin are officially my favourite cheongsam professional ladies. The amount of passion and detail they put into their work has impressed both my boyfriend and me. They really made an effort to rush the cheongsam out for me despite the busy CNY period and they did not compromise on the quality at all. I made an appointment last Wednesday night for the next day, fell in love with an off-the-rack white cheongsam, visited their workshop thrice for alterations (including weekend afternoon and weekday late nights), and my cheongsam is ready for my solemnisation this Wednesday! I am so so excited to wear their cheongsam for my ceremony tomorrow!

This was my first cheongsam as I never really thought it was a style I would look good in, and I hate shopping. I didn't have a lot of time for the event I was shopping for, so I bought a dress off the rack. The selection was limited as it was off the rack, however I found multiple dresses that the decision was difficult. I ended up purchasing one dress and one shirt, which I absolutely love. Alternations were needed which were done within a week and their attention to detail was impressive as they made some final slight alterations when I tried on the dress when I picked it up. I felt amazing in the dress and got numerous compliments on it. I love supporting local, small business owners who go the extra step to make you feel special. Will go back if I need another special dress for another event and will keep an eye out for their shirts as I love the special look of them.

Mama&Misse did an amazing job on my cheongsam and I can't recommend her more. She made the whole process so smooth and pleasant even on such short notice. Such joy to be around and her work is stunning. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get a custom made cheongsam!
