β β β β β Never seen a zoo like this before...feel like free animals in real forest...
Needs 2 days to cover. Best thing is to buy a ticket which includes zoo, river safari, night safari and jurong bird park.. visit zoo and river safari on one day. Remaing two on second day. Hire a stroller if you are going with small kids. Use trams to avoid getting tired whenever needed.

β β β β β Buy all you need ONLINE like tram rides before coming. There is no map. Help yourself from Wildlife Reserve Website. Be early for the shows. I got lost because everything is like a mess and the signboards didn't really help and was rejected at the entrance because the show started and the next show is a 3 hour gap. If your intention is to waste time and get some walking done, by all means come. Weather for now is frequent ocassion rain. Make things even worse because alot of exhibits you see nothing. Customer service is mediocre. Food wise, eat KFC, at least they are more consistent.

β β β β β Disappointing, bought 6 tickets before the announcement back to phases 2. Tried to request to postpone the trip, but was deny. I'm just asking to postpone not refund I do not understand why this is not possible. Still ask me to split to 2 group which I already told them I need extra helping hand with my twins. If I can split to 2 group I would not ask to postpone the trip.
Update: finally they allow me to postpone to later date... βοΈβοΈβοΈ(with the effort of emailsss exchange, the phone number on website is not working ?)

β β β β β Limited to no engagement & response via email, but calling via the customer hotline was an equally atrocious waste of time. Thrice my call was connected, and it dropped the next second.
What a way to engage your customers.

β β β β β Took my 7 year old to specially see the Animal Shows. Arrived at 8.30am Zoo opening time, went straight to the Show area to scan the QR code for the 10.30am show, no one around, waited till 8.50am, 8.55am, 8.59am and exactly 9am (90 minutes before show, open for booking) scanned the QR code to book the seats and voila... FULL HOUSE already! Due to Safe Management Measures, restricted to 50 pax... But there was NO ONE ahead of me or behind.... a parent came after and got the same response... How could you get a full house when you are the first in line.....??? ... Thoroughly upset for the SECOND time since the last trip was also a disappointment... after making ALL the extra efforts to make the trip and realign the visit itinerary..
10.30am went to the show entrance and told the person in charge my experience.. and he was cordial but firm that it was FULL HOUSE - never explain or try to see if there were really 50 pax in the show area already... other parents and children walked away disappointed - could tell.....
Rang the Zoo enquiry line later, was told by the customer service person that the Zoo was definitely operating alright - no funny business here.. and then TOLD THAT BOOKING runs out in the first 30 seconds due to 50 pax constraint ... why didn't you tell me so about the 30 second thingee - I wouldn't have bothered to try and waste my time (and anguish) and instead just plan a leisurely trip with my party in tow....
OBVIOUSLY the QR booking system is NOT working for some time now as the staff were quite smooth in handling my angst... but NO SOLUTION offered... suggest the QR booking be scrapped as obviously you could shortcut the system somehow... and just let the crowd Q at the show entrance or give the tickets at the Zoo entrance to the first 50 pax who come etc... instead of raising false hopes and .. It's a long way to come to the Zoo each time, told myself never again... but with a young kiddie, who am I kidding???
So, my take away for you... DON'T PLAN/EXPECT to watch the shows unless you know what I don't know....
Another solution is to put up remote video broadcasts of the live event around the zoo premises.... why not.... the shows are the highlights of every visit...

β β β β β Love bringing my kids to the zoo as they like looking at the animals and learning more about them. A great way to spend the day outdoor with them too.

β β β β β I had a great experience with Zoo, River Wonders & Night Safari but I did had a good experience with Jurong bird Park.
Ratings;
Zoo - 10 / 10
River Wonders - 8 / 10 (place are more like exhibition than a park. ^^',)
Night safari - 10 / 10
Jurong Bird Park - 6 / 10 (place are not taken care off properly feels like you go back in time. Lol)
Thing to take note;
- Do note that food and drink triple the price. (In all 4 parks)
- carpark for cars start from $3 for hour & subsequent $2 per hr
- motobike carpark in free
Thing to improve;
Jurong bird park keepers should not ask visitor if they want to feed the birds but when visitors said yes, all keepers will say "oh sorry the slot are full". Like what?!
