OMG. Unbelievably it is a kampong feeling when you visit this mosque. Uniquely situated away from the bustling noise of traffic but you will enjoy the clean, green and spacious area, be it inside the mosque or its surrounding. The sounds of insects, birds and the wind hitting the trees, is already a beauty to be heard. Not to mention a well organised and welcoming staffs that will make your day from the parking, entering, guiding and the traffic control.....just very well.

Great masjid. Near the greenery and border. The nearer it gets to Malaysia it becomes like Malaysia. Located near Passion Wave @Sembawang. Is in a Malay Settlement

Alhamdullilah. We as a community should strive to preserve such religious landmarks for as long as we are able to. This is such a lovely masjid ? right by Singapore’s northern coastal line. Parking is aplenty so drivers need not worry - on the other hand, there is no public transport facilities here. I will definitely be back here again if time permits. In Syaa Allah.

Recently we went to the mosque and was welcome by friendly staff my cousin Zaleha. She inform us about the mosque before its a kampung that we used to stay duringbour school holidays. In thise days we used to swim at the sea and collected russels and cook or bbq. There is a spring water we used to bath after swim scared scolded by our mum because went to collect russels clams, the water is clear and cold. But today no more exist. If from main Road Andrew Road. Opposite there is naval base. Army camp NZ. Few stalls selling goreng pisang and other foods . Down the hill shops along the road. Jalan Selimang where my aunty stays. If you go further you can go all the way to tanjong irau and there is coconut tree near seaside. The coconut like triplets join together. We used to go there to and swim when high tight. Those days my aunt told us that there is white crocodile ? but its was legend the crocodile got twin. His sister kampong people call her mak Dara. There is a story that one day mak Dara husband went missing in the sea, so mak Dara call her brother to bring her husband, then suddenly the husband body brought by the white crocodile spirit of the white crocodile. Her grand daughter is my aunt neighbour (Yati if not mistaken)

One of the few mosques located within a quiet serinity within natures. Even though, I wasn't born within the areas, but been staying in the North for more than 35 years.. I can see the development around it, but the mosque is always there, touching the hearts of the locals who were born within the vicinities. Love it...

Lush greenery of the kampong brought back childhood memories. A sniff of salty breeze filled the air... a taste of paradise.

MashaAllah, the only remaining kampung-style mosque in Singapore. Rustic, isolated, and surrounded by lush greenery. Very unlike the usual scenery in Singapore. The mosque compound is quite large. Main prayer hall is carpeted. There's an unpaved area besides the mosque that's used as a carpark. Not accessible by public transport (obviously), and the narrow roads do get dark at night. Must visit for every practicing Muslim, in my opinion.
