Dear Teacher Candice, Seriously,  there're really no words to describe the kind of professionalism and dedication you've demonstrated for your students. Definitely not an exaggeration, but I honestly told Yixuan umpteen times that she must had done ALOT of good deeds in her previous lives to have met you. At our lowest point, where Yixuan's home Math tutor (already knew that she did badly from her dad) didn't even bother to check with Yixuan how she fared in her P6 prelims so as to fine-tune subsequent lessons. That was my last straw. I decided to disengage his service knowing that I could be putting Yixuan into greater risk with no tutor and her PSLE nearing. Feeling so lost and helpless as parents, I turned to you for help, in fact this was the third time I had enrolled her back to your class again. Each previous withdrawal from the centre when Yixuan did badly for her exams, was due to the lack of concentration, as a child. So the thought of engaging someone fierce might do the job and I was wrong. When we were back at PSLE Math, never once had you sneered at us or made Yixuan felt uncomfortable in any way. You would always welcome her with open arms and with the sole intent to help. I knew Yixuan felt the same, otherwise she would not had agreed to go back. Just like her father, her only doubt was.. Would you take her back again? Worried that her marks might tarnish the centre's image, which was often, the top considering factor for most teaching centres, with the exception of yours. ? No matter how this year's PSLE might turn out, we truly thank you for your help and understanding from the very, very bottom of our hearts! ♥️ I wish that more students will benefit from your teaching and that more educators will possess your  passion and attitude towards grooming all children. Teacher plays a very vital role in child's learning journey. He/she can either 'make' or 'break' it. Which I'm sure we had certainly experienced it ourselves during our early days. Teacher Candice is the most dedicated, committed and patient Maths teacher I have met. She is serious in her teaching and yet always very patient and friendly with her students. On many occasions, she had always try to accommodate us in the make-up lessons whenever my son misses his lesson. I remembered on the eve of my son’s Maths exam, he was confused with some concepts and requested me to text Teacher Candice to clarify his doubts. I was glad that Teacher Candice was able to response immediately and clear his doubts even though it was past 10pm already. This had helped to set my son’s mind at ease and he was ready to face the challenge for the next day’s Maths paper. I also appreciate that Teacher Candice always analyses her students’ mistakes and highlight to them the missing link to their answers, this helps them greatly in bridging the gap in the learning process. I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Teacher Candice. I enrolled my son into Matrix in mid year and he was failing badly in maths. However, within 5 months of being under Teacher Candice, he managed to pass pass maths and he is very satisfied with it. He improved tremendously under Teacher candice guidance.
