β β β β β The admin staff at Mavis Kovan are all very helpful (Vanessa, Gladys, Rose).
Students go through a big transition from Primary to Secondary syllabus, and my daughter was failing her Science subjects in the first half of Sec 1. This has been stressful and de-motivating for her.
She enrolled for Science tuition with Mavis Kovan, under Mr Imran. He is a very good tutor, not only explaining the topics well, but also keeps his lessons engaging with stories and his brand of humour. My daughter was well guided by Mr Imran throughout Sec 1 β 4. Her grasp of science concepts improved significantly, and it also enhanced her interest in this subject. During βOβ Level 2021, she achieved A1s for Bio, Chem and Physics. Iβm very happy for her, and would like to say a big Thank You to Mr Imran and all the staff at Mavis Kovan.

β β β β β My son's used to be borderline fail/pass for Chinese. He just entered Sec 1 and scored better than expected. Thank you Ms Li Yan/Yang Yang for helping him achieve A2 for the first weighted assessment! That's a really good start for him.

with good feedback.
We walked in and was served by staff name Ferine. She was patient and friendly. Understanding our kid's need and baseline before recommending subjects with the best teacher/small class wherever possible.
She shared her similar experience worrying her kid not improving. Mavis tutorial class solution resolve her worry. She gave us quality information on what Mavis offer vs other tuition center /personal home tutor which aid in our judgement.
1 month deal package was at affordable rate even before discount and great perceived value as well as flexible accomodations on exception eg change class if unfit.
