R	Royal Pears on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fried chicken was good and meaty. Enjoyed the sweet potato fries, which were a larger portion than what it looked like in the menu photo. Cheerful hospitality from the big man who served the chicken.
Y	Yeeyi zi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greatly disappointed...was excited to try filipino's cuisine at Max's with my mom after reading great reviews about the food here. Ordered Lechon Sisig, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pacit Canton..honestly every dish tasted weird (I wouldnt say it's tasty at all) and you can easily find better tasting e.g lumpiang shanghai anywhere else. Noodles tasted like soggy maggi mee with a weird after taste. For dessert we ordered Halo Halo & Buko Pandan, and it was far better than the main dishes, but then again- would not describe as delicious. Felt that it was a waste of money as overall it costed $60. Maybe it's just not to our taste. Service was okay though.

I thought the Halo Halo looks very sweet but it’s not, the different flavors n textures balance well together. Love the yam ice cream! Would have rated it 5 stars if not for the fact that i went during CNY when the aircon for the mall was closed and it was hot & stuffy as the restaurant didn’t have fans.

W	Wong Francis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice to find this very popular restaurant from the Philippines that opened a branch here. They have the legendary fried chicken, and other popular Filipino fares. The kare kare with lechon (roasted pork) is a must try, also the sweet potato fries. Beef caldereta is just like home cooked. Another must try is tofu fries, tastes amazing! Prices are moderate, service is good.

But despite that, I still loved the Sisig Lechon , deliciously made and the portion is great for sharing. Halo Halo was simply a crowd pleaser! ?? If it weren't for the waiting time, my ratings would've been higher.

The fried chicken lacks flavor and was very dry (compared to the likes of Amigo's, Tenderfresh, Texas). The lechon used good quality pork belly and was nicely seasoned.. but they failed to blister the skin - so the skin was chewy and sticks to the teeth. Sweet potato fries were also a tad dry. This is not for me.
L	Logan Chiam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Place For Traditional Filipino Dishes! Max’s has improved a lot since my last visit partly because the dining area more than doubled and they have of staff. Food however stayed the same, not fantastic.. but with the unfortunate lack of good Filipino restaurants in Singapore Max’s is probably the best option. Service is good, although I can certainly feel the staff getting a bit overwhelmed with the amount of customers they need to cover. I also don’t like the the rubbish collector goes through the dining area. Almost lost my appetite. The halo halo for some reason isn’t as good as I remember it to be but still miles better than the ones in Lucky Plaza. I will come back when I crave for Filipino Cuisine.. I don’t have any other choice. Gerry’s Grill is just bad! Lol!
