My all time comfort place, the go to Mee Pok place. EXtra chilli ( Super Hiam Hiam ) with extra vinegar. That’s the magic. Deep fried fish balls are to die for. Not too oily and the noodles ( Mee Kia ) cooked to right texture. Enjoy! old style Teochew noodles ( previously from Hillside Drive, upper Serangoon )

Only $3.50 and taste is above average. I would say not worth the 30 mins wait for this on weekdays at noon. They will give you a queue number and you can grab a seat while waiting for your number to be called.

Have been visiting this stall since when they are in Kovan area. Definitely a must eat. Many people loves their fried fishballs. Standard still as good. And the son already inherited his father cooking skills.

Typically Teochew fish ball noodles. Mee pok on weekends after 12 noon usually is finished and you may have to settle for mee kia instead. Arguably one of the best in Singapore especially their homemade fish balls stood out amongst the rest of the best. Ah Boon and his wife are very friendly with customers despite the long line of orders.

Went there around 1.30pm and there is no crowd. Order kuay teow Mee dry (yellow and flat white noodles) with additional ingredients. It was well a bit sweet, saltiness, soured and chillis flavoured, thumbs up. Fish balls are fresh. Soup was tasty. Downside, the sliced pork too hard for me to chew. $5 for the bowl is reasonable.

One of the best mee pok and mee kia dry. Al dente and spicy with vinegar to tone it.

A long wait (about 40 mins) for this old school taste fishball noodles during lunchtime. We got there around noon and their mee kia and mee pok were already sold out. So settled for kway tiao mee instead. It was fairly tasty and had that 叀早味. Might not appeal to all, the older folks will definitely appreciate its taste!
