Maureen was an amazing trainer. She shared so much tips and information with us and the workshop was amesome - small group setting with lots of hands on activities!

They had always done reviews and caused good food places with already bad enough long queues to further exasperate regulars at their usual food haunts. I had sent a comment on this. There was a particular rice stall in Toa Payoh from 2 pm sold out to 10 am sold out. Everytime want to order been told it's out. Very frustrating. And they fail to respond to my comment each time I reach out to them. So disappointed with such food reviewers. Another one was a chicken wing stall at Toa Payoh. Already queueing for 45 mins, now with their review for an already popular stall. It swell to double and aunty and uncle clearly cannot handle so much. Never think of others, super selfish.

Miss Tam Chiak Photography Workshop is kept to a small group which allows more interactions and 1-for-1 guidance. Her workshop is fun as there are a lot of hands-on activities to style and take the shot in different moods and feels. A well spent 6 hours on Sat!

Misstamchiak/Maureen is the nicest, most genuine food blogger you will find in Singapore. She does things out of passion and love, not out of necessity or greed. She’s highly professional and well regarded in the industry. Congrats on your new studio and may you continue to shine light on Singapore’s food scene!

Miss Tam Chiak writes about unbiased and informative reviews on local food in Singapore. Her blog provides many information and I was able to learn more about local food despite being a local myself. We visited some of the food places she recommends and they never fail to surprise us. I highly recommend tourists to go along with her food tour, chiak local, to learn more about our food and culture! :)

I admire and appreciate that Miss Tam Chiak shares about good food, especially great hawker finds, with her readers. It keeps the hawker heritage alive, brings more support to hawker stalls etc. It's great what you're doing, Miss Tam Chiak! Keep up the good work!

The kind of crazy reviews that people would go out of their way to leave for MissTamChiak only validates that Maureen is the best in her field. The queues get longer, because that’s the kind of influence she commands. She does what she does to boost Singapore’s hawker scene, which is always great for small businesses in these times. I’ve been reading MissTamChiak since her MyPaper days and she’s always been this dedicated and honest β€” one of the most honest and down-to-earth around.
