this store is the epitome of terrible customer service and unprofessionalism. honestly shopping here for my first two times was okay. even after waiting for a month, I still got my books and replies from the customer service. however, is third time truly a charm? everything went downhill on my third order. firstly, when I reach out to them on Shopee, all they left me were auto-generated messages, leaving many of my questions unanswered for days.(see attached image) secondly, they will cancel your order despite you extending your Shopee guarantee. thirdly, they do not ship your full order together(see attached image) and will completely forget about it. then again, you can do nothing because they don't even reply your messages. lastly, they will not mail out your books. I have been waiting for my books for 1.5 months and have not even received a single one. i received NO updates regarding this issue and of course, the customer service did not read my messages. in conclusion, do not buy books from this store. you would not get your books and after placing an order, you will feel anxious for weeks thinking about the books you will never receive. this store is an absolute waste of your time and energy and I certainly hope you do not have to go through whatever I went through. I would give negative stars if I could.

Ordered a book from Experal, via Shopee. I realised quite soon after order has been placed, that it stated they will ship out only 1.5 months later, which prompted me to initiate cancellation of the order. Enquired with Experal on whether the 1.5 months “ship out” date is true and expected. Experal gave assurance that it is “currently on the way, expected to reach us in about 2 weeks”. With this assurance, I withdrew the order cancellation request. Two weeks passed, and no news. Enquired about status of book and ship out date. Then it is radio silence since. Shopee has a policy of allowing only one cancellation request, which has been “used” with Experal’s initial assurance, which turned out to be empty. I will not waste time with Experal after this incident. Price is attractive, but it feels more like a con than a purchase. Buyers beware. Updated 4 Jan. 2022, in response to seller's comments. Do not use "pre-order" now as an excuse. This was clarified at the time of order, and assurance was given that it will be shipped out in two weeks. This assurance made me retained the order, without which it would have been canceled. This two weeks ship out never happened, and the silence on enquiry on not holding up to the initial assurance is the problem. If there are responses to enquiries or updates to shipment status, that would have been all that is needed. Not keeping to promises is the problem. Not responding when promises cannot be kept is the problem.

Made a purchase with them through Shopee. The pricing is affordable but the delivery takes very long. While they were flexible to arrange for a separate shipping of items that have arrived, they didn't follow up on the outstanding item. Book Depository might be more expensive but it is still a better service.

really really terrible customer service. when i ordered the book it said that there were 10 in stock and it ships out within 1 working day but once i have bought it, it had suddenly changed to pre order. i asked the seller that i would need a cancellation of order as i need the book urgently and will not be able to wait the full 1.5 months and they started ghosting me. this is truly the epitome of bad service and as i read the other reviews, i can tell that this is not the first time that it has happened.
