★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serve good quality malay cuisine at reasonable price. It's less crowded after lunch hour, so it's recommended to come aounrd tea time to have a peace of mind enjoying your meal. Serve a variety of rice cooked differently as well as fish, beef, chicken and etc. Choose from set meal, or customised with the alacart dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was richly and pleasantly done. The sauces and gravy was authentic, felt so home made. The nasi ambeng has all the classic dishes which are delectable and traditional in taste. The chilli is nicely spiced and goes so well with the fluffy white rice and the dishes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mum bought 2 packets of rice and dishes for our dinner. We’ve been here for food before and did enjoy it the first time. However, today when my husband opened his box of rice, it stinked so badly of spoilt food. Food had turned sour within 20 min of purchasing? I highly suspect it has already turned bad and yet they serve it to customers. Very unethical. Had to throw the whole box of rice away! Spoilt food can cause people to fall sick! It just isn’t right for the vendor to sell food that has turned bad. No wonder the dish was filled to the brim today. Never coming back. Not worth the risk. If I could take away the 1 star I would - for putting people’s well-being at risk!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh... I love this restaurant so much. All the food are delicious, everything is tasty from nasi lemak, nasi padang, mee siam, & all the Malay dishes display. This is one of the best Malay food in Singapore. Even though I don't work nearby anymore but I still go back & recommend friends to this place. You must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was polite and service was good. We ordered Ambeng Light :Fish Sambal and Chicken Lemak ; Ambeng Solo Beef Rendang. Unfortunately we were there 45 minutes before closing at 8pm on a Sunday night , the food was not warm enough and side dishes were not available.
Serving portion was large. It is value for money as there are no service tax and GST.
The food is a tad salty for my liking. There will be no return visit for me.
