Friend and I book an appointment to try out this shop as we wanted to get our nails done for my wedding. Just for more context, we opted for gel mani and classic pedi for our session. When we were seated down, they noticed that we were wearing covered shoes. It was like happy hyena’s slowly making their moves, talking about how the our classic pedi will be ruined if we don’t opt for gel, as classic takes longer time to dry out compared to gel. Yeah fair enough, there’s a risk that it’ll be ruined and thanks for the information, but the talk didn’t stop after we refused to pay extra $59(?) for gel services. They further persuaded us to get the gel as it will be SO WORTH IT, cus it’s gonna last for 3 MONTHS (oh well, unrealistic but we’ll see how that turn out). We refused, and I even said I’ll go out of the store to get slippers later (to stop the persuasion) but it didn’t stop them from selling me gel pedi lol. As we were getting our service done, the staff were just so loud talking amongst themselves that my friend and I couldn’t hold a conversation for more than a minute. It wasn’t relaxing at all, my mind was just filled with their voices and from time to time hard sells about gel upgrade so that it polish wouldn’t bleed through our socks and sneakers. We even said don’t worry about our socks and sneakers, we’ll just sit a little longer for it to dry. But they replied that they had customers booked right after us, so that’s not gonna be a solution. We sat for 10mins after, no one was coming, no one came. We were just asked to leave with the last attempt of hard sell “fast dry” polish for $5, so that our polish doesn’t seep through our poor shoes. We declined. Fast forward, NO socks or shoes were ruined. Gel mani was bumpy, not your typical smooth surface, wobbles were probably cause by the constant chat-while-work environment. Don’t get me wrong, small chats are okay but it was a full on company retreat chat going on there. Not my first time having mani and pedi but it was my worst. First photo was 2 weeks after, second was 3 weeks after. I think they confused with the word “months” where it only lasted “weeks”.

Went for a walk-in nails appointment at Plaza Sing, checked with the front staff if there are slots for classic manicure and was hurried in to get our nails done, only when we are seated, we were told that there’s an additional festive charge of $10 (which could have been told by the counter staff earlier.) However, halfway doing the nails, checked with the staff the total pricing of the package and realised that we were being “led on” to choose gel manicure, which was more expensive than classic manicure. Despite doing gel manicure, and the staff assuring us that the nails will last a couple of weeks. One of my gel manicure nails chipped off and had to remove the entire thing ? After our nails appointment, hard selling was being pushed; two cashier staff trying to hard sell the package to us. But really need to be determined to say no!!

Tried this nail salon via Fave Promotion, price is good. Joanna and Penny served me and they were lovely ladies, friendly and gentle in their treatment. Felt at home here, would definitely return if I'm in this area! Well done ladies :)

Both manicurists made me feel very comfortable. They are very professional and polite. They gave good recommendations for colours as well as foot care, especially Coco. I came in near to closing time but Coco & Joanne still accept me on a Christmas Day. Very appreciative of this nice gesture on this day of giving. I will patronize this place again given the 5 stars service both ladies gave me.

The most uncomfortable and draining experience. Very pushy throughout the whole session. The paint job (gel mani) was sloppy and messy. The manicurist did a bad job in painting the nails, leaving me with an uneven messy manicure (colour gel all over my flesh). She charged me for overlay topcoat ($58) which I did not agree to get, she insisted she has applied and so I paid. Backstory, I already have overlay over my nails and I asked for strengthener base to enforce, clearly I do not need the overlay topcoat and I never agreed getting it. Was not informed when she was applying it as well. Overall, very bad service, worst in fact.

I wish I read the reviews before doing my nails here!! But I was kinda desperate as one of my nail were chipped. Initially I thought the service was good, but there was a lot of hard selling. Eventually I gave in and bought a package but I regretted it immensely as the next day, I realised the manicurist ( her name starts with M) did a very bad job!! The paint fell of my nail! Needless to say, I am very disappointed! And I suppose I’m not able to get a refund for my package? Pls advise!!!!

the service at n20 was so good - they talked to me and got to know me as they were doing my nails and they were so warm and friendly. I got served by the beautiful Lynn and she was so welcoming and professional. as you can see from the pictures below, my nails were beautifully done and there was even a complimentary massage service after they did my nails. :) would totally recommend being served by Lynn ?

Did my nails probably a month back. Experience was average. The pedicurist placed my feet in very hot water during the foot soak. Also, she had really long nails which kept prickling against my skin throughout the whole session. She also filed my nails so hard until my feet hurt when i wore my shoes after. Apart from the not so pleasant experience, the gel mani and pedi application was average. See photos for the quality. For the toes, they dont paint fully for dont know what reason, and for the fingers, some black specks and potholes if you can see. I bought the fave voucher and thought i was able to utilize my free soak off. However, apparently the soak off has to be within 28 days of the session (first day being the day when your nails are done) which i went for my soak off on the 29th day. The person who booked my appointment didnt tell me that it was past my redeem period when i informed her. Overall, wont visit again.
