A small stall hidden in a Coffeeshop along Blk 59 New Upper Changi Road that dishes out yummy authentic fried hokkien prawn mee. The broth used is very flavourful & tasty. For $4.00 a plate, portion served is very generous. What makes it even more tasty is his special sambal chilli. He uses ikan billis in it and makes the whole dish taste even better when u toss it with the noodles. Will definately come back again for more to satisfy my cravings in the future. ???

Good portion for $4. Tasty and thick broth, delish chilli with ikan bilis bits but lacks the wok hei aroma.

We accidentally found this fried prawn bee hoon noodle which was very good with the wok hei fragrance braised in rich and favoursome prawn broth and garnished with prawns, squid and sliced pork belly. It was neither too wet nor dry; just right! ??

After trying every hokkien mee in the neighborhood, Nam Hua fried prawn noodles definitely has the best one in bedok.

Tried this fried Hokkien prawn noodle from a coffeeshop at 59 New Upper Changi Road. There is also a very popular ban mian stall from this coffeeshop. This fried Hokkien prawn noodle stall only operates from noon onward. In the morning, they sell noodle dishes like Sarawak kolo mee. Prices starts from SGD$4 onwards, it comes with the standard ingredient like squid, prawn and sliced pork belly. Their hokkien mee is more on the dry type. Noodle was nicely fried and flavourful from the stock they used. Another thing that i like was their sambal chili which comes with fried anchovies. Highly recommended.

Nam Hua Hokkien mee has not failed me for the past 5 years but today decided to add on Peng You Sarawak Kolo Mee which is a shared store with the Hokkien mee.. the kolo mee and broth was full of flavour.. uncle and auntie Kolo mee will be moving to 128 Bedok North Street 2 from 4 Nov. Last day of ops at 59 Bedok is 28 October. 4 Nov - they have opened at 128 Bedok North - food Is as tasty as ever! Updated photos too!

Decent plate of hokkien mee with good chilli and huge serving. However it comes with thin instead of thick beehoon and is slightly on the drier side.

first time trying out his stall and ding it good. It’s cooked not as wet compared to the one at Blk 511 Hawker Center. The chilli paste with ikan bilis is nice touch. Overall, not exceptional but can try again. Almost a 4.
