β β β β β Uncle Huang and Ms Huang are some of the kindest folks we have met in this most charming estate. In Singapore's haste to develop, traditional crafts and small neighbourhood businesses have been replaced by Supermarket Chains, malls. Are those the only things we want to see in 10 years time, is that the only Singapore we are so proud to show off to our friends visiting us? Where is our culture and soul? Religion aside, Nan Seng Chan's religious goods can be reimagined to be associated with Chinese Culture more than just religion. A 52 year old heritage business that must stay strong in our cultural landscape.
