B	Ben ~ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an environment agency, NEA should regulate on all noise levels, not just construction noise. Noise from temples sounding their bells incessantly at 8am or mosque broadcasting Azzan calls through loud hailers at 5am. We live in a very crowded environment. Noises disrupt our sleep and affect our health, especially those recovering from illness and resting at home. For a start, mandate decibel limit for residential area within 500m radius from places of worship. Require owners of temples, churches and mosques to install sound barriers to noise level to a minimum. Install soundproof windows for new HDB flats. This will go a long way in building rapport and goodwill amongst people of different religious groups.

Now have multiple live music bands competing for loudest noise 7 days per week. Completely ruined residential community. Residents moving away. Children unable to do homework due to loud noise.

The staff is knowledgable and helpful, they see things through to completion, and they are quick to notify you if there are any issues with your filings. As a result, things get done correctly and efficiently. It is truly a joy to work with the staff at the NEA.

One time they tell you that they will assist you, and 5 days later they say "sorry unable to assist you in this matter" We have a new neighbor who burns incense sticks and smokes cigarettes all day on the balcony. Both are proven to cause cancer when exposed regularly. NEA, even though responsible for air pollution, doesn't want to get involved. NEA says that it's a religious and private matter, so cant assist. What good is it to have an organisation to protect us from harm, if they don't make laws to protect us from harm?

And is still ON GOING the noise coming from them. Not human noise but even than by putting things is increasingly madness for such late hours.& thanks to NEA! Few complained I'm not e exceptional ones as when I approach e police &@11:20 pm/11:30. So now I do hope that it won't continue as even w reporters said is wrong & e police said agreed with me isn't right disturbing few people sleeping timing if NEA is CONSIDERATE this shouldn't started out???!!!!!! Caused inconvenience how can peoples sleep & wake up &Pto get to work!!!!!! Please be more considerate

R	Rei Axl Ye on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had more than 10 mozzies buzzing around my house one fine day and alerted NEA, seeing that it may be a potential case of mosquito outbreak. Been almost 2 weeks now and I haven't heard back from anybody, still sleeping? Or yishun too scary nobody dare to do anything? Or NEA will only spring into action when something serious happens to the residents? Incompetent and a complete waste of tax payers money. Next time want to sleep at least set alarm la.
