★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just walked off. The lady with the dyed bob hair. Please consider NOT working in retail. What an experience to ruin our weekend. Will give a 0 out of 10. I'll stick to the competitor product.
We went in wanting to learn about the machines for our future home coming this year and we have a competitor product and we want to know more, you know maybe make a switch. You retail staff was
1. Not interested in explaining why the product is good.
2. Impatient and annoyed the whole time.
3. Had the 'dont waste my time kind of attitude'
4. Are you buying? Made us feel extremely unwelcome, rushed and trying to raise her hand for the next customer.
Examples below how I literally had to prompt her. But to no valid.
I told her I have a competitor product now and im looking to see if the coffee is better. Response: I kid you not. "I don't know" wow.. nothing else. It was a fullstop. Never offered to taste their product, no explanation, nothing. Where the products are from. What's nice. What's her favourite. What's the best selling. Nothing. Ok..
Me: My machine is very loud. Is this the same for you guys. Retail staff response: no. Full stop and youre expecting me to take you word for it without a demonstration?!?
Ok... She asked what kind of coffee we drink. We said long back. And she's like, "oh vertuo" I'm like huh?! What's that. Points to the machine. Full stop. And then I turn and look around all the other machines!? No explanation on why this coffee machine is better than the rest. Why this suit us more. Why? Nothing. All she cared was, now got discount, now cheap and now is good to buy. And the whole time she's looking over at the very short queue of like 1 customer and so ready to call then over. We were still there.
Terrible. So what did I learn today? Nothing. Never coming back. I'll stick to the competitor product. At least I don't feel like I'm bothering them. Horrid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude service. Not even interested in explaining the product to you. More interested only if you're there to buy on the spot or if you look loaded.
Went to check out the machines for our new flat. Staff were cold and disinterested. Asked them for recommendations, and was told we should just get the vertuo machine.
We asked about what coffee types there are compared to dolce gusto, and staff said they didn't know.
Was not offered to try their coffee at all? But some other folks were given the coffee (we queued up as well though?)
When we said we weren't going to buy today, we were immediately dropped, and the staff called the next customer over.
Well you just lost a customer. I'm sticking to my old nescafe machine, even though I was looking for an upgrade. Rather upgrade the nescafe one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting this branch, I often go to ION. Usually my experience is quite pleasant but this visit left a sour taste. I only came to grab some capsules and go but store assistant kept trying to sell me the promo products which just wasted my time. After repeatedly telling her I was not interested and finally making my order, i went to make payment. When I came back to collect my order, the same store assistant told me condescendingly that “next time the queue starts from there”. What’s the point of telling me now? But not to worry, there won’t be a next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had no clue on the whole purchasing procedures as it was my first time purchasing a Nespresso machine and it's for my friend. Luckily, the staff, JM, was really great at recommending me suitable types of machines to use in terms of extent and price. He even took time out to demonstrate how to use the machine and patiently explain all the functions thoroughly. It was indeed a great first experience purchasing Nespresso machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think Nespresso shouldn't sell their products in Takashimaya! I was waiting in line to order, after ordering going to other line with 10 people in front of me and then going to third stop to take my order! If I knew how much time I will waste, I wouldn't buy!!! And this happened on Tuesday. If that would be my only experience with Nesspreso I would never buy from them again. It's not the luxury coffee, great experience in store brand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only wanna grab some capsules and go. Queue is super crazily long, I thought everyone might be queuing for some freebies redemptions as I never encountered this issue with Ion outlet before. Even with Bacha coffee, only dinning in which needs to queue, normal days grab and go coffees are fast. No single staff is giving instructions on if you wanna grab and go please proceed here or what, I end up very clueless coz totally doesn’t make sense to me why the hell there’s a long queue unless everyone are buying the machines. No one is dinning in, so makes you wonder why is everyone queuing??? only shows either you are under staff or your staff needs to improve on their efficiency. Better instructions can be given like if you are enquiring on machines, join the queue; checking on subscription plan , join the queue; if just grab and capsules then perhaps just proceed to the counter!!! I won’t needa ask any questions about how to use the machine or what capsule’s to buy this season. Won’t even take up 5 mins. Huge company but lousy operations. I proceed to ask two of the staff if I wanna just grab and go is it possible, lets get the point straight, I am not trying to cut queue, as a customer I just wanna have options. If the staff could kindly reply me sorry even buying capsules you need queue; I can then made a better decision to walk to Cold Storage downstairs to grab some Starbucks capsules or even walk to Ion outlet isn’t. Both staff ignored eye contact as if I was transparent. Needa walk straight to the counter to ask a manager look a like lady, what’s the queue about, could I purchase the capsules directly and go. Was then informed everything also needa queue, regardless Enquiry or purchase. Well, it’s alright I told the lady never mind, the queue is too long. She then proceed to tell me you can order capsules online, “not in a going the extra mile service” kinda tone. More like our queue is always long, don’t wanna queue then order online. Obviously I know you can order capsules online right; was so happen to be in taka, so wanna grab some capsules, no hard feelings even the queue is long and I didn’t manage to purchase, can always get it another day. It’s the whole experience in Takashimaya outlet super disappointing, literally unpleasant.
