★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible peranakan food with great depths of flavor despite simple appearances. The buah keluak was done properly with no meat added to the paste, and grinded with salt and sugar to create a nice consistent texture - resulted in a powerful punch of flavor.
Their Kueh Pie Tee has the same flavor complexity as many Michelin restaurants’ amuse bouches but with more addictiveness. Itek tim had great cantonese-like depth of flavor and the meatball within was juicy and overcooked like most places, I had 3 bowls.
Their wingbean salad was a textural flavorbomb that isn’t to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good but quite overpriced (per pax). Forgot to serve a dish and we were given a slight discount. Our makan group unanimously agreed it would be a once-off - many other peranakan restaurants are more competitive in terms of price and taste.
