NTUC Health Senior Day Care - Toa Payoh (Dementia Care, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Day Care) - Day Care)

My mother in law attended Ntuc day care ctr for 3 mths. We like their services and programmes for the patients. The staff were very pleasant and helpful always.

I am greatly delighted with the day- care services rendered to my 89 year old , Auntie Margaret Joseph at the Silvercare Centre. The care given is par excellence . The staff are courteos , approachable, dedicated n very engaging with the Seniors in all activities. It is a joy to see the seniors smiling most of the time spending their stay n talking with their peers. Joseph Louis Margaret Joseph's nephew.

I would like to share with readers if anyone is considering to send their elderly parents to NTUC Toa Payoh. My mum attends Monday to Wed since a few months ago and now planning to increase to 4 days is Mon to Thur . My mum is 91 and a bit of dementia . However , she only have praises for ALL the staff of NTUC, fm the transport assistant , driver , daycare minders etc . In fact all of them treat the the elderlies like their own parent ever patient and understanding. A special mention of Yoke Cheng . I can't find another more patient ,understanding and caring person . Never once have she answer negatively inspite of the many nitty gritty behaviour of my mum. She certainly deserves special mention . Another person that deserves accolades is Ivanne , the Assistant Home Supervisor n Senior Nursing aide. One day , my mum's sandal broke at the centre. They tried to glue the sole but couldn't . Ivanne on his own initiative went out to buy a very similar pair for my mum. He also refuse to accept the SGD 16 for the sandal and wanted to gift to my mum. Such deeds and actions speaks for itself of NTUC Toa Payoh , currently operating out of Serangoon as their own premises undergo renovation.

My granny is a 90+ fusspot old lady. . Many things has to be done her particular way. Kudos to the centre for being very obliging to her ways. Often persuading her to eat and drink and to mingle with the other elderlies in the centre. She liked the activities at the centre very much before covid appeared. Now due to restrictions, some of the activities had stopped but the care and support given by the staff at the centre is still always the same 5*. If my granny did not attend 2 days, we would receive a call from the centre enquiring about the health of my granny. Very attentive care n support given. Thank you very much. My mum joined the NTUC Silver Care Centre(Toa Payoh)for few years.She enjoyed the activities,especially morning and afternoon exercise.All the staff are very friendly,patient and helpful.They teke good care and show concern for my mum.Thumbs up for Yoke Cheng,Ivanne,Ah Hock and Ah Wong !

My father goes to the NTUC Toa Payoh Senior Day Care every weekday. I would like to thank the staff members there for the care they had rendered to my father. The staff members are patient and dedicated to their jobs, and do good work to take good care of the seniors there. For instance, because of their close monitoring, they noticed that my father could have osteoporosis, which was subsequently diagnosed as such by the doctor. This enabled us to seek required treatment for my father, which we could have missed, if not for the center's staff members' observations and feedback.

I would like to express my appreciation, and also share my very positive experience with the centre. Helmed by an ever-obliging and competent Centre Manager Yoke Cheng, and assisted by dedicated and committed Centre Supervisor Ivanne, Nursing Aides Catrina and Charmaine, as well as the enthusiastic Care Associates, this centre is always abuzz with warm and welcoming vibes. When one of the elderly residents was diagnosed with COVID last year, the staff rallied around the residents, and their families, and took great pains to call each and every one to ensure they were coping well. This was despite the fact that the staff themselves also had to serve quarantine. They kept their spirits high, and displayed fortitude in adversity. This episode moved me tremendously. At the centre, all elderly folks are treated with respect and given meticulous care. My Dad has been with them for years now. With moderate dementia, he often forgets to finish his meals, and the staff takes great efforts to coax him to eat. Those who are considering the centre for their elderly family members, be rest assured that they will receive the due attention, their days at the centre will be well spent!

My mom has been with NTUC Health Senior Daycare for many years. We're pleased with the care, facilities, engaging activities and programs of the centre she attends. The management and staff are patient, take good care of my mom and always keep us posted during this pandemic. We are appreciative of Ivan and Yoke Ching, in particular, for their service and attention to details when attending to the elderly in the centre.
