Really disappointed with the service. I have been engaging with Nur Employment since my first 2 domestic workers whom I used for full 2 yrs and 6 years. I had my 3rd maid recently and had been liasing with Maria from Tampines branch. In my 2nd months with my 3rd domestic worker, she had to extract her tooth which she claimed was already decayed when she was in Indonesia. She had it extracted and I paid fee $180 for it. I went to see Maria and asked her if the fee is supposed to be paid by me. Her replied was I can deduct from her pay since her service was below 3 months and that she had not been honest to inform of her decayed tooth when arrived at the agency. Maria also advised us to write black and white on the deduction. In the 3rd months, I made a swap as I feel she was not doing well. Since Maria was on her maternity leave, Tampines branch closed down and I had to liase with Tanjong Katong. When we sent to make a swap, the agent there named ATIKA, do not welcome us well. Ok fine maybe she had a bad day. Problem arise when she asked if I have paid full 3 months’ salary to the domestic worker. I said yes and I have deducted the dental fee. She suddenly showed me her frowned blur face. So I assume she didn’t know about it and was not briefed by Maria. So I explained and told her about what Maria had advised us. Atika was not happy of this situation and she said I’m not being fair towards the domestic worker. And there were no such things as making the maid paid for it. I acted on the advice by an agent who is working under NUR EMPLOYMENT and now this Atika from the SAME AGENCY made it as if I cheated the foreign worker money. I am unhappy with her comment and the face she showed. NUR Employment was much better 10 years ago. Staff at Tanjong Katong are really unfriendly. As a muslim, not even one staff there, 'salam' my mum when we arrive or leave.

1. My 1st impression of Nur Employment was initially good partly because I was served by Ria -- she paid attention to detail and really helped me narrow down and interviewed helpers on her own and according to my criteria. Mariam was also great in following up with my queries. However, Ria left the company within a month of me meeting her. Then followed by Mariam and a 3rd employee named Kamariah. To me, this speaks volumes about the company. Why do the staff keep leaving? 2. When i finalised my selection of a helper, it was written in her biodata that she was single and had no kids. During our video interview, she also claimed the same. 2 months later when I went to collect her at the agency, the customer service officer handed me a copy of the same biodata but this time, in the marital status section, the word "single" was manually struck off and replaced by "divorced" and handwritten. Turned out that my helper also had a child. So tell me... how do you run an agency when you can't even get their biodata right? Where is the transparency? It definitely changes things when your helper is leaving her child behind in her home country. It really shows the level of professionalism when they recruit their helpers from suppliers overseas. A lot of details in their biodata and even their experience level, you need to take it with a pinch of salt. 3. Prior to collecting my new helper, Nur Employment called me to mention that they had issued the airline ticket for my helper despite me informing them to delay the date. Because of their own mistake, they wanted me to pay for the airline ticket. Of course I said declined. Again... low level of professionalism. 4. During collection of maid, there was a very rude customer service officer (MARIA), who was interviewing a helper via video call. She spoke very loudly. I asked her to lower her volume as I couldn't hear a word of what my own officer was saying. Of course she had to give me the death stare and insisted she had to speak loudly because the interviewee couldn't hear her on the other side of the video call (when it was obvious that the interviewee was using earphones. Maria must have been screaming into her ears!). By this time, the whole office was looking at Maria! I ignored her after that. But what really annoyed me was how she spoke to the interviewee. She said, "I know you worked in Malaysia before but where exactly? Malaysia is BIG lah, DOL!" For non-Malays, the word "dol" equates to "stupid" or "idiot". I was appalled after hearing her say that. To make it worse, she sniggered after making fun of the interviewee. Maria behaved boldly like this in front of all the customers that were present that day, together with the group of helpers sitting nearby. Nur Employment... are these the type of employees that you hire? Having no basic courtesy for human beings? Just because they are helpers and foreigners, did she have to speak to her so rudely and talk down to her like that? 5. This agency is very inflexible when it comes to payment modes. They only accept CASH! No Nets, no credit card, not even bank transfer. Which means... I have to inconveniently make a monthly trip to the agency to settle my helper's loan repayment. After I complained, the same MARIA suggested that I prepare post-dated cheques instead to be submitted at one go. What rubbish! Which employer wants to pay the full loan amount at one go?! Not only that. She claimed that I still had to come down personally to send them the cheque. Seriously? This is 2020!! Their reason of not having other payment methods was because Maria claimed that their boss is β€œold school” (??!!). It was only after I made noise and asked if i could post the monthly cheques... then they agreed. My question: WHY does the customer have to come up with the solution of posting the cheque? Aren't you guys supposed to make our lives much easier? Because of THIS inconvenience, I had no choice but to go to the bank to open a checking account. Just because THIS AGENCY does not WANT to accommodate their customers. Strongly NOT recommended!

I took 3 maids from them .. all 3 couldnt make it..!! Not well trained.. all have something wrong with their brains! Recently maid that works for me ran away aft working for 11 days.. made police report on the same day and on that very day they told us that she went to embassy. Maid lied to agent and us that she only has 2 kids but after i found the birth control pills in her bag then she admit to agency that she just gave birth to her 3rd child 3 months ago and thats why she need to take that pill. Now, We need to wait for her to be taken by other employer then they can cancel her work permit.. otherwise we need to bear her loan! Agent are not helping at all in fact what they always say need to pay for that idiot lodging fee n etc..! I found this ridiculous. If wants to get maid from NUR employment, its at your own risk. Strongly not recommended!

When my wife and I had our daughter, we intended to get some help in the form of employing a FDW for when after my wife starts working. The entire process from start to finish in employing our FDW was smooth and pleasant experience. We recommend anyone looking for a FDW to consider Nur Employment Agency.

it was my first time having a baby so i was very particular about my maid requirements. But the staff was very patient with me and helped me through until i am truly happy with my choice of maid. They also managed to get me the maid on the week that i requested. Overall, i am very happy with their service. Well done.

The worse agency ever! Especially one of the staff named Nadya! Terrible service! Late response, no basic etiquette. Simply no after service once maid has given to us. Don't ever engage this agency if you are sourcing for a maid!
