If I could give 0 stars, I would. Wife and I came here to order a steamed fish takeaway because we needed a main dish for our home cooked veggies and rice. The auntie suggested red grouper for 2. This was a very expensive and horrendous fish - it has obviously been frozen for a LONG time and the meat is rubbery, hard, tasteless, and breaks apart in big chunks. No tenderness, no silky smooth finish at all. Obviously, they gave us this old fish because we were a takeaway order and we wouldn’t know until we had left the restaurant. An incredible waste of time (25 mins wait) and money from a highly unethical stall. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere instead.

We were walking around Holland Drive area looking for some zi char for dinner and decided to give Ocean Hotpot a try. We were a bit worried as we read some of the reviews only after we ordered. Thankfully the dishes we ordered were all very decent and yes, the chef probably likes his food a little more salty. Plus✔️: Generous portions for the price. Friendly service. ?Fish head curry 4? fish was fresh, lots of fish meat, generous portion of cabbage, okra, bringal, and tau pok. Tasty gravy is a good balance without being too lemak rich; leaning more on the spicer and salty side. $25 ?Prawn paste chicken 4.5? 8 large wings fried to perfection, crispy on outside and moist and tender on the inside bursting with Har Cheong flavor. ?Kai lan 4? fried with garlic had good wok hei, and retained the crunch. Value for money ? $46.40 including 3 rice. Minus:✖️ Kai Lan was the only dish I felt was a little too salty..however if you like it salty, you'll probably like it.
