I have been there many times. Always order the dry n salty version. The texture n taste of noodles is always consistent, springy noodles. The Thai chillies flakes/powder is a real kick, toss with the noodles, become a fiery bowl of Sarawak Kolo mee. Without the chillies, the original taste of these noodle is still great, it is no doubt oily. The minced meat has over time become more mashed which he can improved.

No connoisseur of kolo mee, but my experience of trying this dish multiple times when I travelled to Sarawak tells me that this is close to what I had there. You can't compare to your usual noodle-fare here. Enjoy this on its own.

Noodles a little overcooked, some part mushy. Taste wise quite okay, such a pity the mince meat was not the kind like the one in Kuching and no other toppings such as spring onion or char siew.

Stall owner's attitude not very good. Maybe business is too good for him. Take away container charge 50Β’ more, even though it is written 20Β’ on their board. Food is so so. The one inside North point taste much better.

This is the Traditional Sarawak Kolomee, not the usual β€œwan tan mee” look-alike. I ordered β€œOriginal” to try, contains only noodle and minced pork. This is what kolomee is all about, don’t be alarm why no other ingredients, it’s meant to be. Try to savor the flavours in the bowl. The owner is very focus in his cooking, can tell he makes each bowl with passion.

The taste is refreshing. Light and you will enjoy simple meal without much hassle. The meat is tender and flavourful. Noodles is springy. On its own it’s worth the trip. However the place has limited seats so don’t come when it’s peaked hours. Wear light.

Ordered the premium original Kolo Mee $6.50. Taste wise, okay-okay lah, not to my liking, noodle abit soggy and their version only has minced meat as the topping. Very much different from the one that I'm accustomed to in Kuching, maybe they're from different part of Sarawak. But to be frank, they did indicate "Sarawak" and not "Kuching", so it's not a fair comparison for me to say so lol. I would still recommend you to come try, maybe you'll enjoy it more than me, cheers!

The stall actually tucked away in a secluded part of Yishun. It is just opposite of industrial park. So I am sure it has its customer base. As for the noodle, it is just a plain old simple kolomee of noodle and mince meat. Just don't judge the food by its rating. It is comfort food for some and unsophisticated for other. My suggestion would be it is still worth a try. I personally like it. Close to the original, just don't expect anything fancy. Would I come back again? Yes.
