Mr Nick Soon makes his delicious thin-skinned Soon Kuehs by hand! He is also a cheerful person to strike up a conversation with!! Will definitely come back for more Kueh! :)

Each kueh is prepared with care by a nice gentleman. You can see and taste it! Clean. Great tasting. Right texture. Super thin skin, and thus lower in carb. Traditional eaters like mom and dad love these kueh. Modern eater like my kid cant have just one. With healthier choice like beet root kueh. If there is one thing they can do to make it perfect (personally for me), may be the black sweet sauce that comes with kueh. I personally like ABC because it does not have trace of bitterness...well it is more like an after taste. In overall, the best kueh and the best hawker guy I have come across.

The skin is superthin and do not break easily. Only bakgua n chives varieties available and have to wait an hour for it.

This place is a little disappointing. I have no complaints about the classic, ku chai and beetroot fillings which I tried. The skin is soft and the fillings were generous and tasty. The biggest disappointment is that they don't provide the normal chilli and sweet black sauce that I am so used to. In my opinion, these would enhance the flavour even more. The other disappointment is that they don't serve the local tea and coffee to compliment their very well made kueh. I will give this place a miss.

Karen and Nick are a lovely and friendly couple who go above and beyond to welcome you. When my friend asked for cold-brew coffee, which was not on their menu, Karen kindly offered her some of her own coffee (which my friend said was very good) Not to mention, their kuehs are delicious! Best soon kuehs my family has ever had.

Note: No dine-in allowed as of yet, but if you tell the lady boss that you want to eat them right away, she'll warm them up and pack them nicely into a box. Finally, a shop that is dedicated to selling soon kueh, which is the best kind of savory kueh (fight me). This hole-in-the-wall (but easily accessible by bus) gem is found within Pandan industrial estate and features all kinds of kueh you've never heard of. The skins of the kuehs are beautifully translucent and silky smooth, just barely thick enough to contain its precious fillings. Unlike the larger kuehs you're probably more accustomed to at hawker centers, these two-bite kuehs are the perfect size for snacking. That's not to say that One Kueh at a Time skimps on their fillings; each kueh was barely held together by its beautiful pleated seam. Here is a brief rundown of the kueh we had: 1. The OG: I really liked that the filling had just enough bite, but still super soft and generously seasoned with lots of dried shrimp. get this. 2. Beet kueh: Exactly as you've just imagined. don't bother unless you're a beet enthusiast because that's all you get in the kueh. 3. Chives: I love chives so I liked this one a lot, but this kueh was literally stuffed with JUST chives, so... yeah. I hope you like chives. 4. Hae bee hiam kueh: My favourite. It's pleasantly spiced and is full of flavor. I'd definitely come back to buy an embarrassing quantity of this. 5. Bak kwa kueh: Looks almost identical to the beet, and only features a hint of bak kwa flavor. I probably wouldn't get this again because it seemed to feature a pretty heavy beet flavor. While not unpleasant, it was a bit weird. 6. Smoked chicken: A close second to the HBH kueh (#4). There's plenty of smoked chicken bits that adds some nice texture and dimension to the kueh.
