With children in the Secondary School and in the Early Childhood section, I have nothing but the highest praise for the way the OWIS teachers have been managing the 2021 Home Based Learning. The EC teachers have been incredible in managing zoom classroom sessions with over 25 children managing to include them all and maintain their interest in lessons. My older daughters have been guided and led by their teachers and are managing to integrate multiple lessons across the school day seamlessly. In a crazy world, the lessons and support from the teachers at OWIS have helped us as parents to maintain a sense of normal routine for our children.

My child went here a year ago and i feel, especially after the recent straights times article about the ex-teacher that, i need to report on her experience. My daughter had a terrible time at your school saying it was a "prison of kindness" and that she "couldn't get out because of all the strict rules". She now goes to UWCSEA and says she's already much happier and that it's less strict but with better academics. The teachers let students act out time to time since they realise that that's what teenagers need when they're under so much pressure. Saying "be kind" isn't going to fix all their problems. My child no longer comes home saying "i'm emo" which after a quick search i have found out that it basically means very depressed. In many cases, it is obvious that the students are falling behind other schools due to the teachers. While i understand this is a budget school, I think having a music teacher who can hear is a basic necessity. Students need to be in an energetic environment and so many of your teachers don't stimulate our child's brains.

The turnover rate of teachers in this school is appalling. In one subject, teachers were replaced more than 2 times in just one academic year. Teachers who resigned are not even lousy. They must be not treated well by the leaders of the school. Students suffer from such high turnover rate. You should doubt overly positive review of this school.

A principled school and follows discipline and kindness throughout. I've found all my interactions with their staff very pleasant and the entire admissions process was done very transparently and efficiently. My son loves his teacher Ms Saiya and his whole perception of what a school is, has so positively changed. As parents, this is what we want to see and has comforted us, especially during the pandemic what's needed is kindness and empathy. This school has it all!

Not a good school, admission process is not transparent, registration fee is $1000 which is non refundable and very high. After paying $1000 as registration fee for my daughter we waited for almost 3 months and in the month of Feb they informed us that they don't have any seat available. Simply time and money both wasted. THIS SCHOOL IS TOTALLY A BUSSINESS.

My experience in this school was real bad they should stop false advertising maybe the lower primary is good I have no say in that but high school is an utter disaster. There is no proper system of how things should take place and Juan Fernandez was a fraud with no teaching degree and school has done no background checks and let that teacher teach final year IGCSE students. Mr holland who gets drunk and arrested what kind of example is the school setting here. No good staff the only good Teachers we’re Mrs Sawarkar and Ms Neeti pal they had a good idea of what was needed to be done. Most of the kids go behind the MPH and start vaping and smoking. This is not a lie I saw a kid walking with a Jack Daniels bottle and he looked like he was in lower primary. What is this school doing the principle never wants to meet anyone I booked an appointment she always cancelled. Please to anyone who reads this review if your child goes there his or her future is ruined

Caution: The welfare of students or teachers and staff is not of this school's concern. The management has no integrity or sense of protecting their employees. Everyone is replaceable. High turnover and shortage of teaching staff for sure damage the education quality. Don't work or send your kids here.
