ONLYOU Korean Language School (Singapore) - Korean Class

Have been taking classes with OnlyYou since July 2021. Classes are very enjoyable and interactive. Lessons are also sometimes taught using popular Korean songs. Teachers are patient when explaining any questions or confusion we have. Lesson structure is easy to follow and understand and revise. ?

I started learning Korean with this school from scratch. After comparing with other schools, I chose to enroll in their foundation class because of the positive reviews and the well-structured, fun, and interactive Korean classes offered by ONLYOU Korean language school. During the epidemic last year, I joined their foundation online classes for beginners, and I was concerned that the online classes would be less engaging and provide less practice. After attending their Korean classes, all of my worries faded. The teachers are really professional, and the online classes to my surprise are extremely enjoyable, engaging, and not at all boring. Not to mention my dedicated teacher May, who is always ready to aid and answer our questions. I'm currently in intermediate 1. From the beginner level, all my lessons are taught in Korean, and teachers aim to use as little English as possible during classes to improve our listening and speaking skills. This has made it easier for me to converse in Korean with ease. Thank you teacher May for giving me helpful tips for preparing for the TOPIK test next year. My confidence has grown as a result of my frequent practice in class. ONLYOU Korean language school is highly recommended if you want to learn bits and pieces of Korean culture in class and have plenty of opportunities to practice using the language.

I’ve been studying Korean online for about 9 months before I decided to make the switch to ONLYOU. I was a little apprehensive at first since it was my first time attending an online group class, but they made the lessons really enjoyable and interactive! The teacher is incredibly friendly and really familiar with the textbook syllabus, and finds fun ways to help us understand the concepts. Highly recommended!

I have been a student of ONLYOU Korean Language School for just six months, but I have definitely learnt a lot over this period of time. Teacher Byul is great at explaining the nuances of the Korean language in engaging ways, be it through the incorporation of songs, dramas or conversing with other students. The materials are also easy to follow. Will definitely recommend ONLYOU to anyone who is looking to build a strong foundation in the Korean language!

Highly recommend ONLYOU if you want to learn Korean! The teacher is really kind, helpful & patient, goes out of her way to make sure her students understand & her classes are fun too! She lightens up the mood and make sure her students are comfortable and doesn't feel discouraged when we make mistakes. Relatively small class size so that the teacher is able to focus and help every single student. Many learning materials are provided by the school. Classes are flexible too, such that I am able to reschedule missed classes! Looking forward to classes every week :)

I started Foundation Class with ONLYOU Korean Language School (Singapore) and currently in Beginner Class. By the end of Day 4 of Foundation Class, we are able to read and pronounce all Korean words which is as per Teacher Yuri (유리 선생님) promised in Day 1. It gives me confidence to continue to learn. The syllabus is easy to follow and useful for day-to-day conversation. Text book and notes are easy to understand and study. Listening and speaking between teacher and other students are fun. It is a pleasure to learn Korean language with a group of people who are also interested in Korean culture. Homework is not difficult and not stressful. Teacher Yuri is extremely patient and encouraging. Other than Korean language, she will always share with us Korean culture and it's experiences which includes different types of food and games that makes learning Korean so much more fun & interesting. Teacher Yuri is probably the only teacher in the world who would tell students to watch alot of Korean drama as it helps with our listening ? Not to mention, Teacher Yuri is very beautiful. She has not only a nice smile but also a warm heart :)

I have been learning Korean with ONLYOU for around half a year and I highly recommend this school for an enjoyable and interactive learning. I took their placement test beforehand and liked the way they tested my proficiency level in all areas - speaking, writing, reading and listening. Weekly online classes are conducted with well-structured syllabus, not forgetting we have quizzes and fun activities, for instance having gift exchange during Christmas.
