Oh you have a job? Too bad their operating hour is from 9 to 6, weekdays only. It took them 4 weeks to replace 2 ssds on my laptop, claimed ssds were spoilt by corrupted software and charged a $32.10 for "software repair" which sounded sketchy at best. Caved in for the payment as I can't stand all the waiting and repeated gibberish. Any other customer without IT knowledge might not even realise the nonsensicality. Info checking with the back office took years, assisted by customer service agent with no IT knowledge. Be warned if you have a spoilt laptop, it will be a painful process to RMA it.

You guys are a bloody joke, really. I sent my laptop in for a warranty repair on 18/1/2016, and was promised it will be done in 2-5 days. Plus An update and a quotation of the charges if any within the 2-5 days. I received none, and called on the 6th day, and I gave the benefit of doubt by counting only working days. I was informed that it was not done yet. Wow. Seriously, I was once working as a repair personnel in Sim Lim Square, and this is atrocious. 2 days is a norm, 5 days is sacrilegious. To any that intends to send their laptop for repair, forget it. Get it done at your nearby IT store, and void the warranty. At least your job is not at stake. I am not only backdated on work, I am facing overdue assignments. Utter rubbish service

For me it's not as terrible as other people’s situation. I sent my ThinkPad a few days before CNY, and get it the first day after CNY holiday. The queue is about 1 hour for deposit and half an hour for collection. They changed the motherboard. Comparing with Acer customer service, the room is smaller and has fewer staff serving the customers. At least it gets the job done.

I send my laptop on the 5th January 2016, i was told that it will be ready in a week's time. After a week, i receive no updates/ notification. I was expecting to receive it in a week as i had a planned to do school assignments with it. as such i called them and they promised me to give me updates. the following days they failed to keep their promises to keep me updated. Now (26 Jan 2016), still no updates, and more than 2 weeks. since i have used my computer. and also overdue assignments

Was told laptop would be ready 1-2 weeks max. No advice after the 2 weeks. Got my laptop after 3 weeks by being a 'noisy car'. Submission waiting time was around 45 mins or so, but the collection took me an hour and with one customer arriving later than me entertained first. Was told on the phone that since they couldn't open my laptop, I had to ask the counter to update the windows driver (??? or whatever the term was). However, I was told by the counter in-charge dryly that I could update it myself. After wasting 60 minutes of my time waiting to be called and I was told that? Ideally, the technical people should make a note what job has not been done. Customers are customers. They do not know, and most of the time forget technical terms the same way as you do not know our technical terminologies at work.

Examining the laptop part need(1 month), part arrive + install(1 month). After the new part installed, they find another metal part break (normal day use, tell me can break?) Then order another new part (1 month) part areive + installed. Total took about 5 months to repair my Lenovo Y50 Laptop. And charge me $75 for man power. Hehe, worst experience ever. Total cost near $200. Now the part still not working well, I'm now scare to send it to repairs, I don't want to wait for another half year to get it back.

Worse service center ever!!! Had never experience any service center with nobody at the front desk until you called them. Send my Gigabyte P15F v3 laptop in for Date & Time keep resetting, was told to bring the invoice to them, else it will be deem as over warranty. Which that model only came out on 2015 April and it has 2 years warranty. How can it be over warranty. What's worse was the laptop came back to me, after they replaced the mainboard and reformatted it, it will work fine only with the battery, and starts to overheat when I plugged in the charger. Was told by them that I have checked the hardware thoroughly when I collected it, but they didn't provide me a power point to test it with a charger. Any GIGABYTE laptop user sending in laptop to them for servicing, beware of them.

The front desk staff are highly professional. However, IT parts took about a month to come in despite repeated promises that it will be resolved between 3-5 working days. In the end, it took a month for a battery problem to be resolved. Either the technical staff is inefficient, or the logistical and administration process is highly flawed. Lenovo should strongly consider whether OPUS IT should be the party to service its product. After service is just as important as the product itself. In addition, OPUS IT should look to improve its technical staff. The winning factor is the friendly and professional front-line staff who should be commended for doing their best to provide quality customer service.
