Came here for a camp. Most of the facilities here are well maintained and clean. The instructors here are rather friendly! :)

Offers a lot of leadership opportunities for participants. It is also EXTREMELY Mentally Challenging and be prepared to suffer from lack of sleep, back, neck, shoulder and feet pain.

The main camp of OBS. The OBS programme offers a lot of leadership skills and memorable experiences with people whom you'll develop a strong bond with

Almost every Singaporean student comes here at least once in their lifetime. The first time you are here you might feel that its quite bad but subsequent times when you feel more familiar with the facilities and surroundings, it really gets better. The instructors here are indeed very friendly.

Awesome outdoor school that teaches important soft and hard skills, like leadership, teamwork and canoeing skills! Invaluable experience! Really stretches us beyond our comfort zones. Two thumbs up!

Fruitful experience for those who are anticipating the OBS trip in the future. Lists of things to do like kayaking, cycling, trekking, and more. It can be daunting at times, but that’s the point. Building good relationships with your partner/team is paramount!

This trip was so bad I don't even know where to start. The food was not good at all, and it was not healthy either. When being forced to hike and row for 9 and a half hours you would think that having a good meal is something that they would encourage, but no. I was eating chocolate buns or plain milo power for breakfast and lunch. Not to mention the dinner was not good either. Overall, there was a lack of nutrients that is needed especially doing the intense exercise that we were doing. (My friend even found a fly cooked in her chicken) Adding on, I would like to talk about the staff. Though there was a couple great staff members, I believe that the staff was overall just rude and liked to yell at you a lot. However, that does not go for all of them as some were very understanding and kind. Furthermore, the activities were not great either. I believed that it was quite intense for 15 year olds to be doing. Hiking for 9 hours with over 10kg backpacks on and rowing for 9 hours around Paula ubin, I hiked and rowed longer than I slept that night. Not to mention I find it quite difficult to be doing so much exercise with a lack of food for energy. I understand that it is an expedition and it is meant for learning but surely 4 hours would be enough for me to learn about rowing. The facilities were okay, camp 1 was definitely better than camp 2 but it just was not great. A. The camps were filled with bugs and mosquitos and the beds felt like I was sleeping on cardboard. The tents also were not washed which made me concerned. The bathrooms were overall gross and mine specifically had mold growing in the showers. Lastly, I thought that waking up at 5 am and going to sleep at 10 was slightly ridiculous and our days were just filled with so many activities that were so draining. I have to admit that the camp was not that bad, but the price that our school made us pay I did not believe it was worth it.
