Worst food. All overnite food. Standard dropped drastically. From nasi lemak to Kueh Kueh all drop. If you buy the curry puffs, be sure to see the dull coloured and bright ones as you may see the differences. Nasi lemak sambal taste like tomato sauce. overall dropped. If you notice carefully, their kitchen where major cooking takes place behind the stall is very dirty. I have stopped buying from them.

Affordable Malay food/Nasi Padang that was ok. For $5, we got Mutton Rendang with sambal fried Tahu and Tempe and cabbage vegetables. The Tahu and Tempe and cabbage vegetables were nice and spicy, but the Mutton Rendang was slightly too sweet for our liking and a little on the tough side, and definitely could have been stewed longer to make it more tender. However, considering it's pretty near to MBC, it's affordable and somewhat value for money. However, if one has more time during their lunch break, I'd recommend just walking a little further (or just take a bus) down to Pasir Panjang hawker centre for better and cheaper food.

After almost 30 years in the business, I would expect better, if not the best tasting Malay food in Singapore. Its Nasi Lemak sambal (chilies) looks diluted and tasted like it was prepared with processed chillies (chilli boh) instead. I guess it's still survive today because of good location.

I like the mee rebus very much. In my opinion, this is one of the better mee rebus in Singapore.

Pasir Panjang Malay Food is the only Muslim stall that is housed under this run down coffeeshop. However, whenever it is dued for lunchtime, you can see that the queues start forming up in front of the stall for their delicious plates and packets of Nasi Pandang as well as other staple dishes. The staple dishes that can't be missed out from the Nasi Padang stall will always be their Tempeh & Fried Tofu. There is a good selection of dishes available and I could not resist ordering my childhood favourite, fishcake in sambal chilli. The Sambal chili Cuttlefish was our favourite too and we also have some braised vegetables as well as salted egg to go along with the rice. The cuttlefish was generously given on our plate with large cuts and if we were to compare the price paid. I would say that money is worth spending here. For many places, we know that enjoying a plate of Nasi Padang is never cheap. Therefore, having such a meal will only be once in a blue moon.
